Breakfast was a la carte, which is a both ecological (less waste) and economical choice. Also this way Nesplein can focus on making each dish great - and they were all good.
Breakfast selection could be wider - less based on bread and eggs. I really missed a green salad. Luckily fruit bowl was great.

Boutique style hotel in a great location just off Dam Square. Very helpful staff who looked after us really well.
The only thing I wasn’t so keen on was the clothes rack and hanging space. I’m not very tall so making the most of the space available wasn’t easy and never looked very tidy.

The decor was nice, location great (close to train), and the area felt safe and well lit. The restaurant was also quite good.
Not really a conventional lobby to hang out and work in. That would have been helpful but not a big issue. I don't think I got my money worth out of the breakfast. How many things you could order off the menu wasn't very clear.

Staff super nice and helpful.
Wifi in my part of the hotel did not work, due to a broken router, which made it an expensive stay due to having to use roaming charges for online zoom meetings.
