Wonderful
The Vibe - super chill, candle lit (even at breakfast), and 70's design. (Think leather Togo sofas and boho pillows, low lighting.) Exceptional front desk (Jean Paul) and great in-house restaurant. Fluffy robe, too. It was raining when I stayed and I was en route back to the USA from Denmark. I ended up sleeping and chilling instead of going on a canal cruise. Was so happy to finally relax after a long business trip and soak up the ambiance. Delicious breakfast, btw. :)
Initially, bummed that nothing immediately close by. (Even though near a train station). I stayed at the Pulitzer and on the canals last time. But then....LOVED the quiet and no din of tourist noise outside my window. Never left! Just meandered downstairs to a fantastic restaurant with mostly locals.

We loved our spacious room and the nice sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and enjoyed having a mini fridge and Nespresso machine in the room. We dined at the on site restaurant-The Lobby and enjoyed it very much. The hotel Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The welcome glass of prosecco was just the right touch after a long day of travel. If we are ever in Amsterdam again - I would definitely stay here!

We were welcomed with a glass of champagne. Such a cozy place.Loved the rooms. Felt at home. Spacious and bright.. Great bed. Lovely bar area. So inviting!
Had to walk about 10 min from the train station to get to the hotel. But was still worth every step

The interior design of the hotel was fantastic and really set the mood for our stay. everything was very clean and I appreciate the extra doors that separate the elevator from the hallways to the rooms as a safety precaution.

Hotel epmloyees are super friendly, breakfast was exceptional, drinks at bar wonderfull, night were quiet and we could recharge our energy for Amsterdam exploration. We rented bikes, because Amsterdam from bike is just something else.

This is a great hotel! From the moment we checked in and were handed a welcoming glass of sparkling wine, to the large, fun, comfortable room with a ton of windows (that corner room is awesome), to the convenient restaurant downstairs - it was all first-rate! The neighborhood, while somewhat distant from the city center, is nice and quiet and calm - perfect for recharging your batteries after a busy day in crowded Amsterdam!
Honestly, I can't think of a thing that I would change about the property. Its one drawback is that it's a bit of a jaunt to the city center, but it's close to transit, so that's really not a huge deal once you learn to navigate it.

The design and decor were amazing! The room had so much character! It was a perfect location close to Amstel Station! This will be my go to when in Amsterdam. The staff was so kind and helpful, too! Cannot say enough great things! Close to central station, about 7 min ride, by use of Amstel station and only about 20 from Schiphol! Stay here! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful hotel with industrial design. The rooms are spacious, light, and very comfortable. The restaurant, bar and terrace on the ground floor are very convenient. The staff are so friendly, super welcoming and very helpful!!
There was an unpleasant smell coming from the sink, shower and toilet in the bathroom. But did not travel to the room as long as we kept the bathroom door closed.

Excellent location, quiet area, near to metro station which takes 10 min to center, lots of restaurants and cafes around.
Large room, clean, will decorated, all amenities available, bathroom is large, coffee machine and kittle are excellent.
Easy check in-out , helpful staff, the bar is fantastic fair prices.

It was the worst experience ever the hotel wasn’t professional at all. They invaded my privacy and they open the room while I was taking a shower and they were pushing the doors and when I asked them, why were do they were doing this? They said it’s our right to open the room if you didn’t answer the phone however I told them I’m taking a shower and then I’m coming to extend they didn’t care they were so rude and unprofessional terrible!
That was the worst experience ever. I’m never coming back to this hotel and the location is the worst. It’s literally far from everything you’re in the middle of nowhere.

The location of the hotel is super convenient.
Amstel Station is about a 5 minute walk away.

Oost is a quieter, residential area. But if you grab a bike, you're 10mins from great food and drinks.
The restaurant portions are very petite, kinda tasting size. So just keep that in mind. Would be great to specify this sizing issue on the menu. Very tasty though.
