Very comfortable, helpful staff
Room was cold so had to get a heater from reception, room wasn’t cleaned on the first day and the dinner menu in the restaurant was very limited which was a shame given within a ten minute walk the only other eatery was McDonalds! (Food was good the one night we ate there though). Price point of breakfast far too expensive at almost €30pp

The location
The attitude from the receptionist, racist and rude. Actually charged me twice for one night and one hotel room.

The hotel is a 7 minute walk from Amsterdam Amstel station and has a bus station to Amsterdam Science Park just in front. The hotel also offers a very nice restaurant and bar area and is located next to a canal and the view from the room was nice (see photos). The room was super spacious with nice design and a high-ceiling, desk for working, drawers and hangers for the cloths, and also a spacious bathroom with big shower. There was a bath robe and slippers and also plenty of towels.
The heating was not working well and apparently you have to use it in low scale to get a bit of heating from the fan coils. This was not enough and I asked for an air heater, which was improved the situation but was rather loud. The mattress of the double bed was a bit stiff and not very comfortable. The floor appeared not to be very clean, but not sure about this. And also In the corners inside the shower a bit of the black mould is starting to appear, so this needs to be fixed sooner rather than later.

The room was very stylish and convenient. I also thought it was very spacious. The location is also ve convenient if you come from the train station as it is very close to Amstel.
Renting a bike was more expensive than ordering an Uber.

Both the area and the hotel came as a lovely surprise and I will happily stay again. Loved my room, coffee, yoga mat, Marshall speaker etc all such lovely and unexpected touches!

The staff, so lovely we were offered a drink on arrival and given a tour guide book. Staff in the bar and restaurant were also lovely and had great knowledge regarding the food and drinks to accompany the food.
Room was dusty, tissues and water in the room were not replaced after the first night and we stayed for 3 nights.

Nice comfortable place not pretentious, majority of staff were attentive and rooms comfortable,
The oldest member of the restaurant staff the manager I beilieve was very rude, and I would like to bring his behaviour to the hotels attention.
He has no customer service skills at all!!
If you would like to discuss further I would be be happy to speak to the management.
