We came to see family for a week at Christmas. The staff was very welcoming and chatted with us daily as we came and went. They answered questions, solved problems, gave Amsterdam advice when asked. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was even better than we expected with comfortable beds, tons of closets/storage, and pleasant furnishings. I particularly liked the heated bathroom floor.
Having laundry facilities in the building was a huge bonus. A short walk to the metro or catching the trams nearly outside the door made all our outings easy.
We made several meals in the kitchen and could have used more bakeware, etc. But if you are making simple breakfasts and lunches, it is more than adequate.

Everything as always. The staff at the reception never cease to amaze. I should like to thank them all for their professionalism, perfectionism, kindness, and attentiveness. Along with the Coke Zero being on the house.

Overall, very comfortable stay with friendly and attentive staff. All facilities and amenities were well designed and enjoyable. Bed was very comfortable. Sauna was lovely!
Location very convenient and next to several bus and tram stops.
Enjoyed breakfast but would love to see more variety / changes each day if possible! Appreciated that the staff was very attentive and would refill any depleted items upon request.
Water in bathroom sink was a little tricky to get consistent temperature with the individual taps.

I did not have the room cleaned everyday but only 2x during my entire stay. It would have been nice if the coffee pod was refilled and new towels were provided. The cleaning person did not clean the hair in the shower drain. Had breakfast 1x but a salad option would have been good. Having the supermarket around the corner and the Tram in front of the hotel made it very easy to commute anywhere.
Cleanliness with the bathroom could have been improved as well as frequent cleaning of the sauna. Used the sauna almost everyday but the bin for the used towel and the gown was always full. No one really cleaned the gym either. Need to have sanitary wipes to clean the machines and the pads.

The description and pictures were as pictured. We had a smooth check in with friendly staff and they were attentive to our needs during our stay and before (answering questions). We had a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The gym was a solid hotel gym.
We are realistic travellers - the hotel met our needs and expectations. Solid blow dryer for the wife, great water pressure, comfortable beds, felt secure, good neighbourhood with a bus stop essentially right out the front door that takes you to the airport and one that takes you to the city centre. Note you are ~15-20 minutes out from the city centre with a bus transfer. That didn't bother us as we wanted to be somewhere less busy, but there is also plenty near by (restaurants, grocery, coffee) within walking distance.

The rooms are a bit outdated, the sofa has time spots, a bit dusty, but overall clean and well prepared for guests. The staff is friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with no disturbing sounds from the street.
I think breakfast could be a bit better, since it's a cold one with just warm eggs. I don't think it's great for the kids. But all the rooms have a kitchen, so you can easily cook whatever you want as an alternative.

The July - Twenty Eight is a beautifully furnished apartment style hotel with thoughtful design touches. It is situated in a very walkable, charming, less congested part of Amsterdam which was the perfect pace for our family. It was also conventionally located very close to all public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering trip recommendations and ice cream vouchers for the shop next door that our kids loved.
