Overall, very comfortable stay with friendly and attentive staff. All facilities and amenities were well designed and enjoyable. Bed was very comfortable. Sauna was lovely!
Location very convenient and next to several bus and tram stops.
Enjoyed breakfast but would love to see more variety / changes each day if possible! Appreciated that the staff was very attentive and would refill any depleted items upon request.
Water in bathroom sink was a little tricky to get consistent temperature with the individual taps.

I chose The July due to it's location and amenities of having a kitchenette in the rooms. I liked that it was a short journey from Schiphol airport and a little bit out of the city centre to enjoy a quieter neighbourhood with great transport links. I was very impressed by the kitchenette, it was well thought out and had everything I needed. The room itself was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Amsterdam.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, the room was very clean, and the bathroom had everything we needed. The facilities were great too – the sauna and gym were much nicer than I expected, and the self-service bar was a fun touch (though it took me a moment to figure out which drinks were which and what they cost!). The staff were absolutely wonderful – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. The location worked well for us: there’s a tram and bus stop directly across the street with plenty of services, so getting around was easy. It’s about 10–20 minutes by public transport to the main tourist areas, around 30 minutes to Central Station, and only 15–20 minutes from the airport, which was very convenient.
Housekeeping is every three days, which is fine in theory, but we ran out of towels and bin space by the second day, so a slightly more frequent refresh would have been helpful.

It was a stunning building with enormous rooms and extremely comfortable beds. It felt like home. The staff were wonderful and the gym was amazing. I would love an excuse to return one day!
I felt it was quite over-priced and the breakfast which I didn't take up because it was too expensive.

I did not have the room cleaned everyday but only 2x during my entire stay. It would have been nice if the coffee pod was refilled and new towels were provided. The cleaning person did not clean the hair in the shower drain. Had breakfast 1x but a salad option would have been good. Having the supermarket around the corner and the Tram in front of the hotel made it very easy to commute anywhere.
Cleanliness with the bathroom could have been improved as well as frequent cleaning of the sauna. Used the sauna almost everyday but the bin for the used towel and the gown was always full. No one really cleaned the gym either. Need to have sanitary wipes to clean the machines and the pads.

It is stylish and applies concepts like taking drinks from the bar with the Honesty policy which is a way of asking residents to really declare what they took.
Breakfast was very limited and really disappointing. There was very little selection and the quality of the food was suboptimal. It is also not as well connected as it advertises itself to be.

We stayed at July Twenty Eight in Amsterdam over the marathon weekend and had such a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with modern décor and beautifully designed rooms. Even though it was a very busy weekend, the staff were so patient, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was impeccable — spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The sauna facilities were excellent and a great way to unwind after the race. The location is ideal, right across from the Olympic Stadium and within easy walking distance of the train station. A 10/10 stay — highly recommend!
