Excellent location, right on the canal strip just a short tram ride from Central Station. Has a coffee shop next door (very good), a couple of supermarkets, literally walking distance to everywhere. I was worried about the size of the rooms after reading previous reviews but it was more than big enough. We stayed in the top room on the 4th floor, plenty of room either side of the bed, wardrobe storage and a great canal view. Yes the bathroom wasn’t huge, but good enough for a quick freshen up etc. shower temp and pressure absolutely fine. You can help yourself to free tea/coffee/hot chocolate from the reception lounge, there is also bike hire available.
Too strict with the check in times (check in is at 2pm and wouldn’t let us go into our room at 1:45). Also the female member of staff is very rude! No good morning/afternoon etc HOWEVER, the two younger male members of staff were exceptionally polite (I’m sorry I can’t remember their names) but they went above and beyond for us, especially when we left some belongings in our room after check out.

The locations is perfect to walk to everywhere you need. The hotel is lovely and quiet and the staff are very attentive. Felt safe coming and going as the key card acces to get in makes it secure.
There was a broken window in our room which made the air conditioning null and void. The amazing staff came up within minutes with a heater which made a massive difference.

Staff were very nice, helpful. Room was cleaned etc everyday. Location is fantastic in my opinion.
The TV wouldnt connect with internet & channel selection poor. Not a massive issue but it is a negative.
