Amazing hotel - great location, comfy bed and pillows, gorgeous view of the canal from our bed! And a lovely welcome gift for my husband's birthday was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. Highly recommend!

Really great location easy to find, walkable distance to everything and close to tram station. Staff super friendly and we even got a box of chocolates and a rose on valentines which was super sweet! Rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels.
Water pressure on 4th floor wasn’t the best but temperature was good.

The location was very central, with all amenities nearby and easy to get around on foot. It was also convenient for bike rental. This was the main positive aspect.
We had to pay the city tax, which was not mentioned in the booking: €60 for 4 people. We understood at the time of booking that it was included for all 4 guests. Plus No kitchen no breakfast no room service

Location was great, bed comfortable. The room was so cramped that there was no place to put our suitcases except on the floor in front of the door.
My daughter left 2 rings on her nightstand when we left for the day, and they were gone when we returned, with only housekeeping having access to the room. We notified front desk staff who told us to email the hotel manager. It’s been over a week and he still hasn’t responded. I realize she should have put them in the room safe, but ignoring a customer’s complaint of room theft is unconscionable for a hotel manager. Still waiting for a return call or email…

I liked the location. It was convenient to travel around, close to tourist attractions and the tram. It was also easy to take a canal cruise, with boats available right in front of the hotel. There were also plenty of food options nearby.
What needs serious improvement is the front desk staff. They completely lack a service mindset and show no interest in helping guests at all. For example, our room had three beds, but they only gave us one key card. We only found out we could have gotten more when we checked out, because the staff asked why we were returning only one card. We explained that the previous staff member only gave us one. Also, since we were traveling with a small child and had a lot of belongings, we didn’t request housekeeping. Instead, I went down to ask for more toilet paper. The front desk staff refused and said there should already be some in the room—without even asking for our room number or offering to check. No effort was made to assist. Lastly, don’t expect the front desk staff to recognize their own guests. They keep their heads down and avoid eye contact entirely, even if you try to greet them or make eye contact.
