Disappointing
Location was good and the view was good.
Shower and sink had no hot water both days. They tried to fix, and got it temporarily working, but was out both days and couldnt take a show due to cold water. The room was located right above the main door of the hotel which was an automated sliding door and you could feel vibrations and hear it all day and night. Extremely annoying. Asked to move room, but they said it was fully booked. Pillows were not great, but that minor compared to cold water and the annoying door noice and vibration constantly.
No breakfast...place was way too costly for the place.
If you have no other option its a an "ok" place, otherwise I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Great location in the heart of the canal district. Lots of great restaurants and very walkable. Rooms were nice and well kept and beds were comfortable.

Very reasonable price. Reception was pleasant and helpful. We had a canal view on the 4th floor and it was very quiet.
Close to lots of restaurants.
The outside area ( street) was dirty with rubbish when we were there, but not the fault of the hotel!

Location was ideal. View from hotel was excellent. Very accessible to everything in Amsterdam and outside. Was able to make great day trips.
I dislike that you need to put your card in to charge electronics but a lot of European hotels are like that.

Rooms were small but as expected. Elevator was a bonus as didn't have to navigate staircase. Rooms clean and tidy. Handy location. Good wifi and shower pressure/small bathrooms. Canal room view was nice for small extra cost. Central location , easily access from station by tram or subway to Rokin. Friendly staff with free tea/coffee and water station for guests.
