Location is close to restaurants and cafes is the only thing I would say. See issues with hotel.
We booked two hotel rooms that were supposed to be near each other on higher floors, but neither room matched the reservation. We arrived early and waited while the rooms were prepared, which was fine since we walked around the city. However, although we asked staff to call when one room was ready, we never received a call or text.
When we returned to the hotel, the first room was on the first floor, smelled strongly of weed, and had one double bed and one twin instead of the three twin beds we booked. Staff said it was the only room available, so we had to wait again while it was rearranged and cleaned. The “cleaning” seemed to be only spraying the room to cover the smell, which did not work. The lobby also smelled strongly of weed several times during our stay. The hotel credited us for one night, but that did not feel like enough for the inconvenience.
The second room was on the third floor, far from the first room despite our request for nearby rooms, and it was very small. With many other hotels in the area, I would choose a different place before staying here again.

It was close to both the train station and popular places to visit. There was a grocery store nearby, and there were many good restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning. There was a coffee maker in the room. We enjoyed having a drink at the bar after a busy day of sightseeing.
The folks at the front desk were great about holding our luggage before check-in and were happy to arrange a cab when we departed.
Everything was wonderful.

Did not get breakfast, too pricey. Location was nice and pretty central to a lot of things. The room was big, happy it slept 5 of us, but it was pricey.
Price, hallways were dark and dated.

The staff were so kind, helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee was great. The bar was quiet and relaxing. The location was perfect for us.
Everything was great. I would stay here again as well as recommend it to anyone going to Amsterdam.

The location was very convenient to discovering many of the charming neighborhoods on foot. The quad room was large enough to accommodate our two big kids (17 &19) and us. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom looked to be newly remodeled.
The shower stall was a bit small and the curtain was clingy. Also, we had upstairs occupants who were very noisy so that was a bit annoying but not the property’s fault.

Great location. The place has a very sexy vibe to it. Rooms are tiny but the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. We loved the welcome drink in the bar. They always had fun lounge music playing, too. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the best part was having fantastic air conditioning in the room. We slept really well every night.
We had a canal room, but the layout of the room is a bit odd so it was difficult to enjoy the view. You have to be a it of a gymnast to get down the seating bench. But it was nice, just not super comfortable.

Hotel was walking distance from the train station. Great location walkable to rrijksmuseum,canal rides. The neighborhood was quiet with restaurants and nearby brown café. Front desk staff helpful with us with reservation snafu on my part and other times also.

Fabulous location in a beautiful part of Amsterdam right on a canal and walking distance to many attractions, shopping, and the train station. Was highly upgraded with a bar/lounge area. Visually stunning decor. We were on the top floor in a large room with 2 large beds and stunning views. A huge bathroom with separate tub and shower. Everything newly upgraded and spotless. Delicious in room Nespresso coffee maker.
The stairs are steep but there is a small elevator to accommodate

On the very last night of my stay there was someone with lead feet stomping around above me. It isn’t the hotels fault but if I hadn’t been walking out the door to leave I would have complained.

Great hotel very close to the train station right in the heart of the city center. Room and bet was very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional.
Even with the elevator, you have to navigate a few stairs to get to room. It’s manageable but be prepared.
