Clean rooms, nice amenities including pool, gym, spa. Comfortable room. Comfirtable bed. Quiet. Provided robes and slippers. Nice large soaking tub. Turndown service. Great location. Tram right outside the hotel, 10 min to the museums. Nice on site restaurant with patio next to the canal.
Great breakfast buffet, fresh and amazing number of choices to select. Helpful staff. Someone left a cute oragami bird on the nightstand, very charming. Has Japanese vibes.
Coffee maker in room hard to use, kept malfunctioning. Special lounge ( Panorama) food offerings somewhat skimpy, disappointing and the coffee maker there kept breaking down as well. Generally very expensive, but excellent quality.

We have stayed here several times and it’s definitely our preferred hotel in Amsterdam. It is also great for families. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, the rooms are comfortable (especially the beds) and the restaurants are exquisite. The location in the “Pijp” neighbourhood is great. I could also recommend the spa facilities.

Our room overlooked the Amstel River. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, lots of variety and quality food.
That I didn't have more time to spend there.

It’s located in quiet and family friendly neighborhood. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

A nice haven of peace from bustling city center, though still reachable by foot. It is only a 40 minute stroll to the center. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Having multiple star restaurants is also a plus.

The technology used in the room, quietness of the surroundings, Ms. Kim the manager of the reception was very helpful and changed our thoughts of cancellation of our reservation
First of all the amount of deposit that the front desk requested us to pay was €100/night which was the first time I ever heard or paid in any hotel I stayed in and the rudeness of the manager when I was discussing with him when he told me “we charge this amount in case of any damages or things you break or ruins, maybe it’s the first time you stays in 5-stars hotel”
When we checked in, the coffee machine was leaking, the shower drainage was blocked, the AC wasn’t cooling… they need to maintain the rooms more often before accusing the customers to damage/ruins the room.
When I spoke to the receptionist regarding the AC they told me that it takes time to cool since the sensor stops the AC even at night during our sleep and we need to open the windows.. After contacting Booking.com and Ms. Kim got involved in this matter, she changed the whole situation and upgraded our room and solved all the issues

Room size, layout, style, cleanliness, free bottle of champagne in the fridge, wifi, selection at breakfast buffet.
You can hear everything from your neighbors, and the hallway just outside your door. No one needs to hear their neighbor having adult relations through their bathroom vent. Trying to grab someone's attention at breakfast to get water or order food was painful. I ordered the eggs benedict, it was cold and small, and also there was just a single egg benedict - what happened to the other one?

The hotel is very pretty, well-maintained, and nicely landscaped. Being located in the middle of the city, it was within walking distance of many activities. A major plus was being able to schedule a canal tour at the hotel and the meeting place right out the back door!

Fantastic hotel with amazing facilities. The location is amazing - easy to get the tram into the centre of town, in a lovely neighbour and out of the main tourist spots. The pool and gym facilities were top notch, very handy if travelling with children.
The service could have been improved. We had an issue with billing cause by a staff error and the staff at the buffet breakfast weren’t up to the same standards as other parts of the hotel.
