Wonderful
The location is great. Big windows, wonderful view. It’s so quiet. The staff were all great and friendly. The bed is so comfortable and I liked the decorations and lighting design.
if somebody walks on the floor above, you can hear it. The room was spacious and could have a refrigerator and a closet. There was no hook in the bathroom and we had to hang our towels on somewhere else. Before opening the water for the heading shower you might get wet with cold water. The safe box could be larger too. A 13” laptop couldn’t fit there.

Staff was exceptional and allowed me to store luggage for a few hours as I visited Jaanse Schance, the breakfast was amazing with made to order items, and the honorary drink station (coffee, juices, wine and liquor) in a seating area with outlets, made my day waiting to meet up and sit with someone. Outstanding.
There was nothing I did not like, however, I would strongly suggest a mini fridge for items that tourists buy or items that need to be refrigerated.

The morning Staff on Jan 28 were friendly
WATCH OUT, YOU’LL GET ROBBED.
The staff went through our personal belongings, and money was stolen. What made it even worse was how rude and dismissive the staff were.
The blonde male staff member working the morning shift on Jan 29, 2026 seriously needs proper customer service training. He kept implying that we were lying and was beyond rude. Another female staff member repeatedly said, “Of course I’ll take my staff’s side.” Who in hospitality speaks to a customer like this? All we asked for was a proper apology and a fair investigation.
Afterward, we read other reviews and realized we are clearly not the only ones who have experienced this. It genuinely feels like the issue is being covered up instead of addressed.

Very nice room, very kind staff, good breakfast, nice location. I recommend this place. I stayed for 2 nights in a room with twin beds and for two other nights in a room with a queen or king size bed, a bit bigger. In both cases I had canal view and I included the breakfast, which was a good choice (it's a buffet breakfast with quality food). The staff was very helpful and accommodating: for instance they gifted me a free drink at the lounge, and they allowed me to store and rearrange my luggage in the evening on the check-out day. The room was also very clean and had all that was needed. It's a short 7 or 8 minute walk from the station, by a little canal.
It's hard to say what could have been better - For some rooms, even if the hotel is not big, you have to take the elevator to first floor, than walk to the adjacent building and take another elevator for the upper floors. But it's not a big problem! One thing that could improve the room experience is having a small refrigerator, just in case one wants to store fresh food or cold beverages.

It's located just 7 minutes walking from Amsterdam Central Station which is very convenient. My room was very clean and I love the decoration !
The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Self service hotel, you have to do everything by yourself like carrying your luggage & so on.
No amenities
No wardrobe
No complementary water in the room

They only have self service snacks and water in the reception where you can buy and take it up to your room ..!!!

Location was fantastic and only minutes away from the main station. Close to the central locations for food and red light district. Hotel staff was very friendly and room was really good for the price and star of the hotel.
The bed mattress felt a little weird like you put on for sofa bed but honestly it was still somehow very comfortable. The toilet seat was a bit uncomfortable and you need some sort of stool to properly do the business comfortably. But that's about the only downside!
