I loved everything about my stay at Hotel Jakarta. The room was stunning and bed was very comfortable, bathroom had a bathtub and shower and the room had a balcony with a stunning view of the river and city. The staff were helpful and friendly and was gifted us free drinks for my birthday with our breakfast. The wellness lounge was amazing and the highlight for me - I had a facial treatment and enjoyed using the sauna and swimming pool. The cafe was also great and rhe pastries were unique and tasty. It was a short tram ride to the city centre and I enjoyed being more on the outskirts of the city as it was peaceful. Me and my partner got engaged on this trip which made the whole experience extra special and we will definitely be returning to Amsterdam and the hotel in the future.

Breakfast was really good , plenty of choice and high quality ingredients.
Bus to central station took five mins and walked back in about twenty.
Great location for central Amsterdam and beyond
Water was 4.50 euro for a bottle and it turned out to be filtered. Sustainable but very expensive. Other food and drink were great value for money and very tasty

Everything about the stay was amazing! Staff were super friendly the breakfast was amazing so much choice! Extra bonus the rooftop bar!
The lighting in the room wasn’t great and our tv was very slow. Other than that no complaints!

Splendid hotel, one of the most beautifully decorated hotels I've ever seen so far. I instantly fell in love with its greenery and wood the moment I saw its pictures on Booking. The room was big, nicely styled, with a small fridge and all amenities required.
The breakfast was amazing, with various options to choose from. Also the dinner was spectacular, along with the staff serving.
I've also enjoyed their pool and the bike renting. It is a lovely hotel overall.
They have an elevator that takes you directly to spa, make sure to find it.
Would love to come back.
The below listed are all mentioned in the hope that this gorgeous hotel will not become overrated.
Staff at the Reception could be more heart welcoming and warm. From what I noticed, they were a bit rigid.
I paid a non refundable room and by some mistake, the hotel tried to charge me twice. I contacted them and things sorted out, eventually.
At the check in you are instantly requested to pay a deposit fund, amounting 100 euro. This is the hotel policy, no problem with that, yet please make sure to inform the customer, prior to checking in, or even when booking, about any coming mandatory additional fees that need to be paid, regardless the amount of money. My bike rentals fees were deducted from this found. The rest of the money were reversed to my account at the check out.
It would be great for their bikes to have a basket, to place the jacket or whatever. Not all staff mention about the phone holder, make sure to ask for it, as they do have it and it is really useful, as a tourist.
No password for the Wifi, however on my tablet it did not connect at all.
One of my towels in the room and the bathrobe were stained, maybe worth paying more attention to these details. They were clean, yet stains were visible.
