Location is great. Staff was super helpful. Breakfast was awesome and even had vegan options. Plants in hotel are fabulous. Room size was good. Nice to have a balcony, bathtub, coffeemaker, kettle, + fridge. Storage was good. Restaurant was really good for dinner. Easy to get to with tram from Centraal Station. Bedding was great. Nice to have a desk and some storage drawers for clothes. Lighting was good but we had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn on the light near the desk, and then we accidentally discovered that light was on a dimmer switch which was a plus. Pool was great for swimming laps.
Beds were a little soft - there is a topper that is on the main mattress that was a little squishy and moved around on the bed. Bathroom was very weird because it is not a separate room - it is just part of the main room (although the toilet was in a room with a door). The shower glass was open on 1/2 of one side, and it made it very cold because the shower was just open to the rest of the room and the glass is clear so there is no privacy. The chairs and sofa in the room were very uncomfortable and did not have any lower back support. Our biggest negative was the climate control - there basically is none. The hotel advertises individually controlled A/C in each room, but there is no A/C. When we called the front desk to find out how to adjust the thermostat, we found this out. The hotel was kind enough to bring us a fan though. The fan combined with opening the door for a bit to get some cooler air in worked out ok for us. However, if you were staying in the hotel when it was warm outside, I don't think it would be comfortable at all. The highs were in the 50s when we were there, so the room temperature was ok. They should not advertise individually controlled A/C when that does not exist.

Staff was excellent. Room clean, meals were very good.
Just a small thing. Staff were unaware there is a rather close (unmarked) hop on/ hop off bus stop #2 close to hotel, don't need to walk all the way to the train station for guests using it.

The property is somewhat reasonably priced and is located closer to the area where the river cruise ships leave.
The hotel only has two elevators on one side of the building and the bathroom for guests eating in the dining room is down two sets of stairs. The dining menu is limited and it should be expanded.

Very clean, the trees and plants in the hotel just gave it such a serene, relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff and the restaurant food was A+ not to mention breakfast was amazing!

What would’ve been really nice if he had a bus service from the airport to your hotel that was a little scary knowing that you’re in a different country and trying to get to your hotel, the taxi service are too much a rip off according to Google that we should only pay €86 they get from the airport to your hotel But the taxi service they are knowing that out of town they want to charge you they want to charge you €180 and when I saw all these other buses with the hotel name on it, I thought that would be great. That way you know you’re not gonna get ripped off.

Atmosphere was nice. Staff was great. Food was fantastic.
Turn on a/c in the rooms! What a miserable night in the heat and humidity. I don't travel half way around the world and pay a premium price to not have any a/c. Also the room layout is horrible... who designs s room where the entrance is through the bathroom and no privacy in the shower. What a terrible design.
