Just only location is great. In the central city closed to central station.
So loundly outside. The ground floor is bar. Even they close but lot of drunker shout after midnight and also noisy in the morning. Staff did not make up room even we hang make up sign in front of room.

nice bar owners downstairs, helped us carry and keep our luggage downstairs before our check in time. good wifi. clean beds and there's a tv with netflix on it. sink in the room. will have to cross to the shared bathroom that is clean across the hallway.
you can smoke in the rooms which is fine and cool but the rooms smell very strongly because i don't smoke, gave me a headache while I was staying there. the stairs are super steep leading up to the rooms, not bad just a little scary!

Perfect location, and it is smoker friendly. Easy checkin and check out.
Shower temperature was not ok, couldn't regulate the temperature.

Loved staying here. Location is perfect, staff are really friendly lady who checked me in was lovely. Rooms are basic, but have the essentials. Smoke friendly too, what more do you need? Will be staying here again.

The location was perfect for our stay. Close to a wide variety of places to eat and a 12-minute walk from the train station, which made it easy to get around the city.
Being so close to the city center, there is noise and commotion until very late at night.

Location was perfect for 1 night stay during transfer. Room had everything we needed was clean with comfortable bed, considering location is on a busy street we weren't inconvenienced by the noise but we were on top floor. Smoking in the room is a bonus. Staff were friendly and make check in&out easy. Typical Amsterdam property with tight narrow stairs but manageable if no mobility issues

Very good location, a few minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The hotel is amongst a number of bars, cafes and restaurants so you don't have to walk far if you don't want to. The hotel is above a pub which serves a good range of drinks.
The staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. Someone from another room had been sick in the communal shower and a member of staff had thoroughly cleaned the area right away.
We stayed in a room of 4 which consisted of 2 single beds and a bunk bed. All beds were comfy and we found we had plenty of space within the room.
Check in and check out was simple. Just be aware that the steps going to the rooms are very steep but not an issue.
You are provided with WiFi details upon checking in and also receive a discount at the bar which was a nice gesture.
Overall would definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to get your head down. Ideal location for most tourist attractions as the train station is minutes away.
We will definitely return if we come to Amsterdam again.
It can get noisy outside the hotel, I was woken a few times by people outside between 2am and 5am both nights of our stay but it really wasnt an issue and didn't bother me enough to complain.
The hotel does provide you with ear plugs which came in handy for the group. I don't like to wear them, as a personal preference but again thought this was a good gesture.
This wouldn't put me off staying here again as I enjoyed the location of the hotel.

It was nosy late at night and early in the morning but that's to be expected with the location.

I chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and in the city center close to a lot of things. The pub downstairs is a fun one.
Our room faced the street where late-night partiers were quite loud, until around 4am, so we didn't sleep very well. Next time I will move further from the train station and red light district. The toilet room was very tiny, difficult to move around in. The room itself was quite small as well.

Location can't be beat, closest to Central Station, right in the red light district. The climb to my room was a bit steep, so take that into consideration, but my room was spacious and comfortable.
