Excellent location, right in the heart of the city and just a 3-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal. The only small downside is that, being so central, you can hear some street noise in the room, but the hotel thoughtfully left earplugs for guests, which was a nice touch
The bed was very comfortable, and having the hotel bar right on the ground floor was a great bonus for a relaxed drink after a day of exploring. Highly recommended!

Stayed here multiple times over the years. Location second to none for all the action. Staff friendly and nice little traditional bar downstairs. Recommended.

Noise from people dragging there suitcases down the street, if this would annoy you make sure you book higher than first floor

Near Centraal station, in old quarter of Amsterdam, above a traditional Amsterdam bar. Room was up in roof space reached by the steepest stairs I've ever seen. Bathroom was modern and functioned well but some shower gel would be handy. Bedroom was large but rather too full of furniture. Lighting wasn't great. No facilities for making a drink. Bed under the eaves was very soft and with a broad wooden surround which made getting in and out awkward (but we are in our 70s). Overall a quirky and interesting experience for one night.
Check-in at the bar and staff very welcoming. Guests get 10% discount. A chance to drink in a real Amsterdam bar used by locals.
However, I was charged a few % extra for paying by card. I wasn't asked if I had cash which I did. I believe this should not happen. Fortunately, the extra amount was trivial.
