Wonderful
This hotel is a cozy little spot close to the tram and Van Gogh museum. It's in a great location. Breakfast was delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
No complaints.

I liked the room, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
It wasn’t the property, but the contraction on the road was not ideal

The location was great. Easy walk to many different locations. The public transportation was very convenient to use.
My only dislike was the stair, so I did use the elevator.

Fair
The property was clean and small. There is steps to enter the hotel from the streets. If you press the button, the staff will appear within 5 minutes.
At night, you can access the hotel entrance with the room card.
Single room is very tiny and modest, with a single size bed, only enough room for carry on bag, Overall ok for a solo traveler, but the price was too high compared to their facility…I only chose this hotel since so close to the museums, but public transfortation was so good in Amsterdam, I will stay more close to the citu center.
I booked months ago for a good price, but didn’t need to…even a few days ago before arrival, price is same and still rooms….

Everything. Historical typical Amsterdam property conveniently located to the Museum district and well connected to the Central station for the day trips. Very good breakfast with homemade very tasty pancakes.
Nothing about property to dislike, but city taxes on top of the overnight rate are outrageous.

Wonderful
Location was excellent, just a minute’s walk from tram and bus stops, including the airport bus! The three big museums and Concertgebouw were all within 5 minutes. Convenient store and supermarket are also within a few minutes’ walk.
The rooms are clean. The staff appear when you need them and they are very friendly and accommodating.
While the hotel sits between two schools and break times could be noisy, the area is very quiet at night and weekends.
My wife’s chief gripe is their high toilet seat. The hotel should consider keeping a low stool of sorts for use by short people.
The elevator is ‘moody’ as humorously described by the hotel. Your first press would just light up the button but bring no further action. One has to long press a second time until you hear some mechanical noise before releasing to get your ride.
One characteristic of almost all Amsterdam buildings are their narrow and twisty stairs. So unless you are fit and agile, don’t try.

Good
The location is wonderful.
The limited staff means you don't have a chance to talk about local options. Breakfast staff were very nice, on the other hand. Carpet needed spot removal and the furniture (pressed wood) is strange for an expensive hotel.

Great location to walk to sights very clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful.
We were on the lower basement floor which was by a kid’s playground so it was noisy in the morning. If you stay there ask to be on upper floors.
would be nice if rate included breakfast.
Very clean and comfortable. You can buy snacks and beverages. I would stay there again

Great breakfast and amazing staff!
Unfortunately there was construction on the street making it difficult for cars to find the hotel.

Good
We had a room on the first floor. The breakfast was wonderful....a very large selection! Location is very good.
I travelled with my daughter and requested a twin room. I received a welcome email telling me I had room 114, which I understood had twin beds and a small patio. When I arrived, the lady at the desk asked if I would consider one bed. I told her "no" and mentioned that I had been told I was in room 114. She said there were changes and I would get a bigger room. The size of room 114 would have made me happy! It was a stormy blustery day, but when we returned from dinner the sun came out and it was a lovely evening. My daughter and I both mentioned that we wished we had that patio, so that we could sit outside with a drink. I prefer to be given the room I choose when I book a hotel. Also didn't find the desk lady to be friendly. However the lady at breakfast could not have been nicer and the breakfast was wonderful!
