This is a wonderful hotel. I usually don’t do reviews, but I make an exception here. Great location near the museums and the main No. 2 tram that takes you right downtown. Better yet, near a wonderful restaurant row of tons of pedestrian only zones where you can wonder at night for your dinner spot. Finally, a great breakfast. It has it all.

Excellent location. Room was very big. Shower and bathroom were quite modern. Room got clean towels every day. Bathroom cleaned; bed made every day. It was very quiet at night. I felt very safe in the hotel and the area (Museumplein) as a lone woman.
The very small things I wish were different were: the scrambled eggs at breakfast were almost runny but hey tasted good; there was nowhere to sit outside of the room. I would have liked a lounge area of some kind; and it would be nice to have a small frig in the room since the Dutch don’t use ice much.

Great location, close to museums, park, and public transportation. The room was clean and quiet. Morning breakfast was perfect!
Lighting in the bathroom could be improved for makeup application, but other than that, it was a perfect place to stay!

The room had a foul odor, as if a strong cleaning agent had just been used. I reported it to reception, but nothing was done.om

We stayed for six nights. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was exceptional, especially Alexandra (one of the managers) and Lemmiya (breakfast room cook and manager), and the others as well (sorry, can't remember the names). They were very responsive to any problem we had.
The breakfast was ample, fresh, and tasty every day.
The location was absolutely perfect - right next to the Musemplein and very convenient to public transportation.
Unfortunately the regular cleaning staff was on vacation during our stay and the cleaning company that took their place didn't do the best job, though the room was far from dirty. Again, Alexandra dealt very well with the problems that arose.
The breakfast could have been a bit more varied (e.g. hard boiled in addition to scrambled eggs).

We had a room on the first floor. The breakfast was wonderful....a very large selection! Location is very good.
I travelled with my daughter and requested a twin room. I received a welcome email telling me I had room 114, which I understood had twin beds and a small patio. When I arrived, the lady at the desk asked if I would consider one bed. I told her "no" and mentioned that I had been told I was in room 114. She said there were changes and I would get a bigger room. The size of room 114 would have made me happy! It was a stormy blustery day, but when we returned from dinner the sun came out and it was a lovely evening. My daughter and I both mentioned that we wished we had that patio, so that we could sit outside with a drink. I prefer to be given the room I choose when I book a hotel. Also didn't find the desk lady to be friendly. However the lady at breakfast could not have been nicer and the breakfast was wonderful!

Loved the location, the attentive staff and the overall vibe of the place! As we visited during the low season, we were given an upgrade for the same price. This made us very happy! The bed was comfortable and the room was generally quiet and nicely decorated with a balcony.
The only thing we didn’t like was hearing the children playing during recess from the school next door. It’s not a huge problem to be honest, as you are in Amsterdam to visit the city, not spend time in your room. The children also go back to class eventually! It does however make it difficult to take an afternoon nap to get over jet lag. It wouldn’t stop us from coming back to stay here cause it’s an awesome hotel, our favourite spot so far!

Wonderful
Perfect location to arrive in Amsterdam after a long flight. It was basic but very comfortable, helpful staff and close to nightlife as well as museums and Vondelpark for a stroll the next day.
No complaints- it was exactly what I was looking for.

The location of the property was close to public transportation around the city and a bus line the went to the airport. Many good restaurants around and things to do.
While the location was great for tourism and convenience unfortunately it is by a playground and school so be prepared for noise. It was fine for us because it was a weekend but Friday after school was so noisy! It could be loud if we stayed for the week.

- great room for solo-traveler! It has all the essentials. Appreciate the assortment of snacks/beverages available in the room.
- super convenient location reachable by multiple tram lines, especially if you museumsplein was already in your itinerary.
- delicious dutch pancakes and other options at breakfast
- wish there could've been more space in the bathroom to move around, put my own toiletries, etc. Also, the toilet seat was not aligned.
- laundry service ideally can be cashless.

Wonderful
3 min walk to the nearest tram, really cute area and incredibly clean. I had low expectations for the price, but it was really perfect. Single rooms are small, but no bother for one person. There are reviews with the school nearby, I didn’t hear the children until I walked outside.
Room was smaller, but I knew that when booking.

Good place for the price, if you looking for somewhere clean and in center and to sleep, it is the correct place. Not many facilities or would not give 5/5 for comfy but I was happy end of the day.

Great location. Walkable to so many things. Cozy and clean room, perfect for a solo traveler. Staff was so helpful. I lost my phone while there and Khalid (sp?) went it of his way to help me. I would definitely stay there again.
Nothing, although if anyone has trouble with steep stairs, they should check w the hotel beforehand to find the right accommodations
