A beautiful hotel. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary which I mentioned when we booked. The hotel had a nice card waiting for us and put us in a beautiful room overlooking the canal. It was perfect to every way.
Nothing - the hotel itself has a wonderful sitting area on the main floor and a nice bar. The hotel gave us great restaurant recommendations and made bookings for us. The staff are friendly - the hospitality is top notch.

The room we stayed in was fabulous! I requested a pink room for my sister and I. The ladies were so nice and so helpful and the room was gorgeous!
That the breakfast was quite expensive with little options. Also the bar only opens after 5... so we arrived and couldn't order a cocktail. Only bubbles.

It is undeniably a beautiful property- coffee, water, and candy is nice but it is the little things. The key situation is unique at first and then becomes a chore some what. Waiting in line like checking in each day you stay at the hotel, I asked for oat milk for my coffee and they said it would be a room service charge. It’s a very nice property but the details matter.

The ambiance, decor, and location are fabulous! The staff is exceptional and we truly enjoyed chatting with the bartender, Janely.
The beds are extremely hard and our room open directly into the bite of another room, so we really couldn’t even enjoy the garden view.

Hotel lobby and room was beautiful. Bed was comfy. We booked the room with a canal view and it was perfect for us. The size of the room is ok for two people, shower is separate from toilet which is great. Slippers and bathroom are provided for. Provision of nespresso in the room with complimentary water and drinks as well. Location was excellent in terms of proximity to Dam square (5 mins) and the Jewish quarters, 9 streets (10 mins). There are several canal cruise companies as well, with the flagship cruises just next door but you have to board on the other end near central station. takes a bit of walk around 15 minutes to the central station. It's a 20-25 minutes walk to the museums.
no cups! or mugs! It's just not right to be drinking coffee or tea for a glass. And when you ask for it, they just say they don't provide or they have and that's how they do it. coffee of tea from a glass. It's very unsafe as its a challenge to hold a glass with hot coffee or tea. With the price, I expected better breakfast options. The choices were limited.

Must stay if you have the money. It is amazing as soon as you walk in. Each room is gorgeous and adorable. Each bedroom is unique too. Comfortable and providing in every way. Staff was super nice and helpful too.
Biggest downfall is MAYBE the lack of coffee cups to be used. Instead they give glasses to be used for your coffee.
