Excellent location, very central and convenient for exploring the city. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Handy self serve mini convenience 'store'
Twin room layout very awkward - tight squeeze. Overly soft beds (tricky if you prefer a firmer mattress) The bar is cocktail oriented with limited options for other drinks and no hot drinks.

Location is good. The hotel bar/lounge is excellent. Vintage decor. The hotel was an original Heineken brewery, plenty of history in this building.

Had requested a street view, we were booked with an interior room that said courtyard view, the view was looking down on some form of machinery. The room did not offer a simple luggage rack, we had to lay out our suitcases on the floor. We arrived at the hotel at 1300, were advised that our room was not ready and that check-in was 1500. Then I was told by the front desk that for 30 euros extra per hour , we could check in early.............WTF, he just told me the room wasn't ready!

The location was perfect for sightseeing.
The breakfast was too expensive for what was offered.
It was a disappointment that work was being done on the front of the hotel and scaffolding covered it. I picked it in part for the look of the old hotel.

The location is ideal. Although very central, the room we had was very quiet (Not sure if this applies to all the rooms in the hotel, though). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
