I loved the historical feel and history of the bar decorated with Delft tiles. The room was clean and bedding super comfortable. This added to the perfect location made our stay for our 25th anniversary absolutely divine!!

The property was very central. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. They welcomed us with drinks and orange flowered Lei necklaces when we arrived on King’s Day. They helped us with taxis and directions for our various excursions. I can’t say enough about their kindness towards my group of friends. The hotel itself was very nice and had an interesting history.

Very friendly staff at the desk, excellent location
It was basically just a clean hotel with very little character. In the same price point, we have stayed in other hotels in Amsterdam with better decor, small touches.

The location was very convenient and it was a beautiful building
There was no phone to get a hold of staff. You had a QR code and a chat box but they were not quick to respond. Felt inefficient and a hassle to have to go to the desk to ask for help. The bathroom had an ancient blow dryer that should really be replaced.

Fantastic from the very start. I was able to get my room early, which was great since my flight got in very early in the morning and I really appreciated a place to rest for a bit. Every single staff member was super pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable seating area, little fridge and coffee area, and a nice big bathroom with great shower/tub, including nice toiletries products. The room was quiet and dark for getting good sleep and we had a good wifi connection. The hotel is well located with easy access to the Centraal station (10 min walk) and to the Jordaan and 9 Streets neighborhood with tons of restaurants right outside the front door.
Nothing I wasn't happy with at this property.

We had a suite, it was very spacious and clean.
The bed was super high and hard to get into. The sink would not drain and you could only get ice from the bar after 4, so none in the morning.

Beautiful historic hotel. Rooms were very nice if not a bit on the smaller side (still comfortable). The location is awesome. You walk outside and you can easily reach all of the most iconic sites in Amsterdam. Central Train station is 10 min walk from the hotel making it very convenient. We had a 24 hour layover so this worked out well. The restaurant connected with the hotel, Bouillon d’Amsterdam, was packed for dinner and although I didn't have dinner there, it seems like a hot place to each.
