The staff were really lovely. The room was great size and great layout/facilities. Location is amazing.
We were upgraded so we were all on the same floor which was lovely of them. However right outside our room, outside, there were pavement building works (lots of machinery & drilling) that would kick off around 7am every morning. Not the hotels fault and only temporary so don't be put off! But keep in mind if you're planning to stay in the next week or 2.
Room got cleaned but didn't top up the loo roll which was strange. Had to ask reception for a roll.

Amazing location! The rooms were wonderfully comfortable with little nose from the street outside. The hotel's food recommendations were top class; we ate at three dinner choices, and they were excellent! Plus, it was my was my birthday and they provided a sweet gift and birthday sign. Everything from the location to the facilities
The only downside is that the window from the room was directly facing the hotel sign so there was no view to speak of, but we barely were inside the hotel

Very helpful and welcoming staff both in the hotel and in the bar
The lighting in the room was very poor. very inadequate lamps left the room very dark except in full daylight. Bedside lamps impossible to read by.
We pointed this out at reception and helpfully they provided an extra standard lamp which provided some improvement.
Worst lit hotel room that I can remember.
