Clean room and very central,close to amenities
On the double bed were two separate single mattresses, it should be just one double mattress, would be more comfortable and ideal for a couple.

Convenient location, was a perfect stay during NYE. The celebrations weren’t too far away at DAM square, after the fireworks it was a short walk back to the hotel before the hoards of people start leaving the square. Room was cozy and staff were all very friendly the whole stay. There was also a lovely cookie tin provided for free as part of the hotels 155th anniversary which was a nice surprise bonus.
Toilet location within the bathroom is too crammed. The toilet is pushed right up against the corner of the room.
Lack of a big down light in the room made it difficult to pack bags when you’re relying on nearby table lamps for light.

Very good location to visit Amsterdam on foot. The room is nice and comfortable. Bathroom is quite spacious. The staff is friendly and always greets people.
The room needs more lighting as it’s quite dark and it would be nice to have softer pillows as the ones we had were quite uncomfortable. It was quite pricey over NYE but we would come back.

Location of this hotel is fantastic, easy walking distance from central station and everything to see in Amsterdam close by.
Check in efficient and lovely welcome gift in room to celebrate their 155th birthday.
Staff extremely friendly.
Bed was a little too firm for our liking.
