Location was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I was with my brother and we had two twin beds that we were able to separate for some space, but the rooms are set up better for partners/spouses than family.
There was a wedding at the hotel that we didn't know about until the day of. Because I had left early that morning I didn't know about it and ended up coming back to the room right when the wedding started. Not a big problem (for me), but if we had known the day before instead of day of that would have been helpful.

Location - 20 minutes to central by foot, 6-8 minute walk for Trams, close grocery. Room - very comfortable beds and good aircon, very quiet. Its pretty and now that I understand the building used to be a tram station it all makes sense. Easy to find because of the park/fountain across the street.
Breakfast was good, everyday is the same offering - so for a longer stay that would be repetitive.

The property is nice, location is ok if you don’t mind walking to town.
I had absolutely appallingly service by the staff here, they couldn’t find the payment on their system and I was honestly treated like a criminal.
Of course system errors happen and I’m understanding of that, but once I’ve shown you my bank statement PLUS two email confirmations from booking stating payment has been done in full I would expect some acknowledgment that the issue is on their side not mine.
Instead I was repeatedly told I would need to pay again unless I myself get it sorted (??) - there was no effort on their part to investigate the issue at all; it was just accusations of not paying from multiple staff members & repeatedly told I would need to pay again.
In the end I had to call both my bank and booking.com to rectify the issue. Booking said that the whole issue was because the staff didn’t know how to access the details.
I didn’t receive and apology or any explanation from the staff.

Rooms were super clean, quiet and beds felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Excellent location to walk into the city, Jordaan in particular, but very well connected for PT.

Lovely stay for 2 nights. Great location, comfortable bed, really good shower and quirky decor. Nice quiet area but easily accessible for all the sights in Amsterdam.

To be honest staff was lovely but the room wasn’t great. The bed was so uncomfortable had a dent in it. The mattress dipped in the middle and to be honest I’ve been bits whilst staying in the hotel.
I don’t think the rooms are very clean as I said I’ve been bit quite a few times on my legs and my arms. Which is probably dust mites from the

Good location for exploring by foot, e.g. the "De Hallen Food Market". Inviting standard both in the common areas and the room. Good breakfast. Safe storage for bicycle (after a long wait for management clarifications)
A bit uncomfortable overhearing the poor communication between a senior and junior receptionist during check-in. Further, the senior had us wait for 15 minutes while checking with his manager if we could keep our bikes in the room. Eventually our request was turned down, but a locked meeting room was offered instead which was fine. At breakfast, we were only informed about omelette, pancake and waffle options after having helped ourselves from the buffet.
