The July - Boat & Co is a 4-star hotel located along the waterfront in Amsterdam's Houthaven district, ideal for both short and extended stays. Great location away from the main hustle and bustle. Really pleased with the size, cleanliness and decor of the accommodation. Food and ambience in Vessel was fab (the eggplant was amazing and we ate copious amounts of bitterballen!) Great gym and wellness facilities and friendly / helpful staff. Really pleasant neighbourhood. Very enjoyable jazz evening too. Would definitely return.
Breakfast was a little expensive.

Soundproofing of the rooms, breakfast
Humidity/temperature of the bedroom. Had trouble with a stuffed nose everytime I stepped into the room. I know, Amsterdam, but I'd love a way to decrease the temperature for longer than a couple of hours (thermostat) Pillows were a bit on the large size

The walkway outside the hotel to the docks offers a scenic experience. The room has got a character and a cozy vibe to it. The staff were very helpful.
Windows can't be opened. Only one window that opens slightly.

So many things!: The quiet location, the apply-scent in the hallways. The room was very modern and relaxing, comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchenette. We also liked to small window Sofa and the option to connect your device to the Tv screen ("Casting"). We had to reschedule our check-out to the very early morning and were well supported with an uncomplicated check-out and calling of taxi in advance. We will most definitely return and then also try out breakfast and the spa.
Minor things: Slightly more space to move and for storage in bedroom, more non-coffeinated tea options, power socket on both sides of bed, higher quality toilet paper, information about additional services at check on without asking (e.g. on spa, breakfast options).
