The hotel was comfortable and the concierge was helpful and friendly. I also really liked the location and for the money it was a good deal.

Great location. Cute lobby and nice staff
Step from the bedroom into the bathroom caused many stubbed toes. Bit of a claustrophobic and steep staircase but I think many buildings in the centre are like this

I had to extend my stay in Asteriks, this time i stayed in bigger room as there is no availability for single room. It was great, everything was so clean, the furtinure and stuff in the room was enough. The view was amazing. Thanks so much !!!

It was my 3rd room visit as I had to extend my stay in Asterisk. :) This room was on the last floor, the view was so cozy, the room, bathroom, and toilet were so clean, the hotel staff is very kind and supportive, I would like to thank each of you! I will definitely come back to Amsterdam and stay Asterisk. Thanks so much for the gift also :)

First of all, sorry for writing the review late, I didn't want to rush to write my comments for this wonderful hotel and skip the details! :) Before I went to Amsterdam, I searched a lot on Booking.com to find a good place. And I found Asterisk, it was definitely more than i expected, i stayed in different rooms as i had to extend my stay and first stayed in small room for 1 guest. It was very clean, the bahtroom, toilet, inside of the hotel were very clean and cozy. The furniture and stuff was enough. At the first check-in day i was a bit late and called the receptionist and asked if it s ok to check-in late from the time i asked before, he kindly accepted it, thanks soo much ! and thank you for the gift also i put it in my room at home and remembering my time there.

Death trap stairs and ledge into the bathroom from bedroom is a major tripping hazard - would not recommend to those with limited mobility

Excellent location steps from the museumplein and easy walk or tram ride to all the highlights of Amsterdam. The room is typical of rooms in this part of the world - basic but comfortable beds, enough desktop area to put one's things, a chair. Nothing fancy. Very nice bathroom with large walk-in shower. Very quiet and private in a building adjacent to the main building. Although there is a subway stop and major street within a block, this street is very quiet, very typical of Amsterdam with its cobblestone street. The front of the hotel is generously and beautifully adorned with colorful and seasonal plant arrangements.

perfect location on a quite street but very close to metro station and city centre;
very kind hosts that let us check-in much earlier than expected and even gave us small presents at the end of the stay;
the room was just enough for a short stay
