I had to extend my stay in Asteriks, this time i stayed in bigger room as there is no availability for single room. It was great, everything was so clean, the furtinure and stuff in the room was enough. The view was amazing. Thanks so much !!!

It was my 3rd room visit as I had to extend my stay in Asterisk. :) This room was on the last floor, the view was so cozy, the room, bathroom, and toilet were so clean, the hotel staff is very kind and supportive, I would like to thank each of you! I will definitely come back to Amsterdam and stay Asterisk. Thanks so much for the gift also :)

First of all, sorry for writing the review late, I didn't want to rush to write my comments for this wonderful hotel and skip the details! :) Before I went to Amsterdam, I searched a lot on Booking.com to find a good place. And I found Asterisk, it was definitely more than i expected, i stayed in different rooms as i had to extend my stay and first stayed in small room for 1 guest. It was very clean, the bahtroom, toilet, inside of the hotel were very clean and cozy. The furniture and stuff was enough. At the first check-in day i was a bit late and called the receptionist and asked if it s ok to check-in late from the time i asked before, he kindly accepted it, thanks soo much ! and thank you for the gift also i put it in my room at home and remembering my time there.

Very close to Vizelgracht station this family run restaurant is great value for money. Rooms are big, clean and well equipped.

Very close to underground and tramps. Rooms are nice and cozy, but a little bit small.
The first room where they allocated for us was on the ground floor. Very noisy, we could hear the reception phone. Also, the radiator in the room didn’t work, but after we complained they moved us without any issue.

What a gem! This family run hotel was absolutely perfect for my stay in Amsterdam. Their attention to details. Really shone through. It was perfectly located, clean, cosy and just the type of hotel you want to return today after a busy day out.

I was visiting with a friend and I have travelled to Amsterdam a lot. This hotel was placed in a great area, just outside of the main city centre but close enough that you could walk for 20 minutes and be back in central easily. There was a metro station a 5 minute walk away and good tram services. I also really liked there was a supermarket really nearby. The hotel was lovely, clean and secure. You have to use your key card to get into the building not just your room. I would say the stairs were a little steep (but that is common in Amsterdam) and the lift was a little ropey but apart from that I really enjoyed my stay! Bonus that we got a little balcony that was lovely, the room was clean and tidy. We did have issues getting the TV to work but we spent a lot of time outside of the hotel so didn't make much of a difference.
