Wonderful
The location is very centrally located near Sloterdijk Station. It is very easy to reach from Sloterdijk Station. Just go out and turn left, walk like 50-100m and ta da! You are arrived in front of the hotel.
Breakfast selection could be better :) but it is still OK, and the juice taste more like water.

Easy parking. Very close to the train station. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok.
False fire alarm to evacuate the hotel at 1:30 am and no apologies given.

Very good breakfast, pleasant, helpful staff and good room.
When first entering the hotel it is rather dour and unwelcoming. It needs positive and clear direction to the reception. Entering the hotel from the station is difficult owing to the steep steps leading up to entrance. With luggage going up or down is a cumbersome, difficult exercise particularly for the elderly or otherwise inhibited patrons

Staff were very friendly. Can’t fault them.
Receptionist was great, breakfast waiters really great. Property is very well located at the station.
Bathroom was great and clean.

Felt run down and old.
Advertise air con… but there is no air con (atleast in my room). I was given a fan by reception.
Light switch didn’t work by the front door… so entering the room was pitch black and i had to fumble around to eventually find out the room switch was inside the bathroom…

the night reception manager probably an asian guy . Was trying to be oversmart and rude it was related to enquiry of breakfast parcel for the following morning since we have to leave early . He ensure that we did not get the breakfast nor the timings . Holiday inn with such a big brand name should not have such a staff trained.
He was arguing a lot with simple questions asked by us , at last we did not get the breakfast parcel because he was so hesitant and saying no to everything . He was highly rude an unprofessional . Will not recommend the hotel due to such staff. Highly disappointed after paying a good amount with the holiday express in , we were there for a good experience but became a worst experience of our trip.

Perfect location for exploring Amsterdam and surrounding areas. Trains run so frequently that you don't need to plan too far ahead. Hotel was clean, comfortable and offered everything we needed as a family with teenagers. Customer service was great, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was busy but lots of choice and staff kept everything moving and food refreshed. Special shout out to Alessandro, operations manager for making my son's birthday breakfast extra special, totally unexpected but very much appreciated. Thank you
Not lots round the hotel for eating out but not really needed as transport is so close and reliable to use to go out in the evenings.
