Location
Issues with service and problem-solving. I prepaid for a room, arrived late the next day, and was never contacted by the hotel. The room was canceled( while according to booking they had same class empty rooms), and after a night flight I waited more than five hours to check in with a new reservation. The staff do not behave like personnel of a five-star hotel; instead, they make you feel as if you owe them something just for speaking to you. Overall, this was the worst check-in experience I’ve ever had at any hotel.

good location.
For a 5-star hotel, it is disappointing not to have slippers or a bathrobe. The towels are so thin that after one use they are already too wet to be used a second time. There are no other essential bathroom amenities, and there is no complimentary bottle of water in the room. Breakfast included tomatoes that were not fresh and the coffee was of poor quality. Overall, we will not recommend or return to this hotel in Amsterdam. We are usually loyal Hilton customers, but in Amsterdam we will not return to this location.

It is closing for refurbishment imminently, and it was - unfortunately - apparent on occasion that things are a little bit winding down.

Staff, room especially the view was really great. Breakfast was good with new tastes every morning.
Overall small details such as no price menu for the mini bar or room service qr codes not working were nuisances that didn’t go well with Hilton’s service quality.
