There is nothing not to like about this Hilton. Best value in a European hotel and I have stayed in quite a few. A short walk to AMS, unbelievably quiet for such close proximity to the airport. the on-site restaurant was very good, nice bar in the lobby, a nice spa to unwind the trip stress, and the rooms are larger than their competitors near the airport.

Both the front desk and bar staff were exceptional. The front desk person, (forgot her name) spent time going over how to navigate the airport check-in which we heard was a little confusing. At the bar Brandon made us feel welcomed and treated us great and the food was delicious and perfect.
The only thing I think could be improved is the bed mattress, it was hard and felt cheap. I have a bad back and this mattress made my back hurt more.

Location is great , a few minutes walk from the terminal with beautiful gardens outside the hotel for an evening walk.
Marvelous breakfast.
We were 2 adults and 1 child in a room with an opening sofa bed and 1 king size bed.
It was very difficult to move around the room with the sofa bed open. Quite small for 3 persons.
Although we asked ahead for the sofa bed, when we arrived,late at night, it was not setup. We had to wait 1/2 until 23:00 for the staff to come setup the bed.
This is the 2nd time this happened to us in this hotel. So make sure to call ahead and stress you want the sofa bed made up before you arrive.

Connected to airport so you could walk there in 5 minutes. Did not have the breakfast. Housekeeping made up the extra bed immediately after our check in which was important as we had traveled all night and our connecting flight was canceled after delays and we needed sleep immediately.

I would like to raise a concern regarding Invoice #761177. During my stay, I paid a security deposit, but upon receiving the invoice, I noticed that the charge has been listed as a room upgrade.
I would like to clarify that I never requested or agreed to any room upgrade during my stay. Therefore, I believe this charge has been applied incorrectly.
Could you please investigate this issue and arrange for the correction and refund of the incorrect charge made to my card?

Large bright airy corner room with a view of the airport and motorway. Couch at the end of the bed was appreciated as somewhere to sit that was lower than the bed. Really wonderful breakfast, but best if you can take plenty of time to enjoy the amazing variety of food available. A lovely rain shower and hand held option in a large bathroom (but because the floor is flat, when the shower door was open the water from the shower floor leaked to the side and front of the toilet so you could not wear bare feet or socks if you wanted to use the toilet for some time after one had a shower). It only takes about 10 minutes to stroll to the Hilton from where you emerge at arrivals, but if you want a hotel even closer the Sheraton is just at the top of the first moving footpath up out of the arrivals hall.
The control for the temperature of the room seemed not to respond to pressing the buttons as instructed, but eventually I realized that turning off the fan took the chill off the air. Still, I seemed to have a sore throat from the coldness of the air before realizing how cold 20.8˚ with the fan on high was. One thing I didn't mind, but I think might concern anyone who finds bright light difficult to bear in the morning, was the lack of curtains. For me I enjoyed seeing the sun in the room.

Air conditioning during a heat wave was great. Easy access to the terminal. Quiet.
The hotel forces you to enroll in their loyalty program for free Wifi. That privacy invasion is behind the times. The restaurants on site were not practical for families.

Clean, cool sleeping room on a very warm day. Nice sheets and towels. Check in staff was helpful and efficient.
Dining staff was very slow at seating us, room was really tight for 3 adults and the foldout bed saggy. The lobby and dining area were warm...of course the day was exceptionally hot so it would probably be okay in normal weather.
