The breakfast was superb, lots of options and variety. The location is convenient and easy to find. The only downside side is the room is on the small size, but laid out well enough that it didn’t feel cramped

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam. The rooms were clean and cozy, the breakfast had a great variety, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was also very convenient — perfect for exploring the city!

I want to give a special thanks to the woman who was working on August 26 in the afternoon around 4pm (not the manager, but at the front desk, sadly I didn't get her name). She was so sweet to my nephew and gave him a treat on the house when she learned we were there for a belated birthday trip. It was so memorable for him, please pass on our thanks, he kept mentioning it throughout our stay--it really made an impression.
Breakfast was very good. Rooms quiet and spacious, good climate control. I thought with kids it was great to not be smack in the city center. Around the corner there was a nice playground, it was quiet, and the tram to the station is very frequent and fast. Will definitely stay here again on private and business travel.
The morning of the 28th we forgot our keycard in the room. The manager seemed annoyed by this, though the front desk attendant helped us without issue.

The staff were all lovely and helpful, the location is a very short tram ride past the Booking.com building from the central train station, in a quieter location (if there is such a thing in Amsterdam!), and the room was clean and quiet. I had a really nice stay and will definitely go back on my next visit to Amsterdam.
My coffee was not replenished after my first and second night, but that's not a deal-breaker.

None. All was perfect. Staff friendly and helpful. Pity I couldn't open a window for fresh air. That is my only complaint. I understand why but even a few inches would be good.

The hotel was ok but i had £80 taken from a brown envelope in my room by the cleaners and when i spoke to managment first they said maybe it was taken as a misunderstanding usually when guests leave money on the side in their rooms its a tip for the cleaners, then i was told theres no cameras so nothing they can do, (bearing in mind the money was folded in £100 stacks in a brown envelope and they had taken £20 notes out to make it look asif there was still £100 wraps luckily i checked just to make sure thats when i realised £80 had gone as there was only £420 left of £500 which i hadnt touch as id forgotten it in my room so just used my card that day to make purchases) then i went and took video of the camera pointing at my room door, then spoke to managment again they said they would check cctv and find out who entered my room, went to town came back manager wasnt there spoke to manager next day and was told the cleaners wouldnt do that and they trust them so theres nothing they can do about the missing money as there was no proof… do not reccomend staying here, breakfast was o.k at best had it on first morning of our stay then didnt have it again for the 3 days we stayed, carpark is extremely small only space for about 8 small cars i struggled to get a m3 touring in and out
Also ontop of cleaner entering my room and “secretly” taking an £80 tip they didnt empty the bins or make the bed they literally did nothing
