Great location - hotel is conveniently located on a tram stop (direct line from Central Station). Lots of restaurants around, easy walking distance to the museums and other highlights. Beds are very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
Minor inconvenience that there was no cooling mechanism in the room (canal facing rooms get sun in the afternoon which is lovely but traps heat). The rooms are older so there are some creaky floors and you can hear this from other rooms as well - earplugs solved this problem, so be sure to pack them!

The location is excellent. It is right across the street from atrium station, near all of the restaurants and nightlife within walkable distance and a huge park is right across the street. You can’t beat the location.
The great location comes with a lot of noise. Since the nightlife is in this area you hear people all hours of the night. You can also hear the trams until late in the night. The hotel itself is old so it comes with a lot of creakiness. If you are irritated by noise or want complete silence, this is not the place for you.

The Hotel was amazing I'd definitely stay there again. Bed was so comfy, the room was spotless and the view from.the 5th floor was amazing. Excellent location to visit amsterdam. Tram stop right outside the hotel alo.g with the metro and taxi rank. Also the canal cruise was right outside the front door as well. There was an abundance of restaurants to eat out in too!
There was nothing to complain about!
