We had the most wonderful stay at the Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American this weekend and couldn’t recommend it more highly! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The location is absolutely perfect right in the heart of Amsterdam, making it easy to explore the city’s shops, canals, museums, and nightlife all on foot. The trams are easily accessible, just a few minutes from the stops. Our room was spotless, beautifully styled, and extremely comfortable. An upgrade on arrival was greatly appreciated. The beds were amazing, and after busy days exploring, it was the perfect place to relax. The hotel itself has such character and charm, blending classic elegance with modern comfort. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We would highly recommend!

Inconvenience and lack of hospitality, it said check in from 15:00 the receptionist supposed to call us when the room ready so when if it’s not ready of the appropriate times they can also call us if it’s going to take few hours longer, mind you the weather we’re in pity patters rain to walk around the Amsterdam city that day , we were back at 16:00 room not ready and we still had to wait said need to be check for another 5 to 10 minutes no problem, we finally enter the room unfortunately the bathroom still smell as pouring pee that we need to spray enough parfum to get rid of it whenever we need to use it. We found Carlos at restaurant which pretty much a gem for hospitality
