I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is outstanding, with everything you could possibly need within walking distance. My room, with its balcony, was comfortable and made the stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast was excellent every morning, and the restaurant deserves special praise as well. The food, atmosphere, and service were consistently impressive.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff and the level of care they provide. I travel frequently and stay in many hotels throughout the year, so I do not say this lightly. The cleanliness of the room was absolutely exceptional, among the highest standards I have experienced anywhere.
I would especially like to recognize Sauda. Her professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, and dedication were remarkable. She made a real difference to my stay and is a wonderful example of the hotel's commitment to excellence.
Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Polite driver, good location,
correspondence with driver because of passport control he left and we had to wait 1 hour in all to be collected by the taxi, then VERY difficult to find him being sent pictures of where to find him. Breakfast on the outside the service was terrible, only me there and another table yet he still couldn’t cope with that poor service in the end just left after waiting half hour for some milk as everything was cold.

I had booked a small hotel almost directly across the canal. It did not meet my expectations. The Clayton was far superior at only slightly higher cost

Breakfast was great. Location was reasonably walkable to the sites I wanted to see. Hotel was quite beautiful and met all my expectations however this was a special splurge for me and I will not likely pay that much for a room in the future. The staff was extraordinary pleasant and accommodating … especially the gentleman who stowed my luggage and arranged my taxi for next day… the taxi driver also above and beyond service … so friendly… truly wonderful
