The location was great - close to all the major attractions of Amsterdam.
Overrated for the money paid. Our bathroom had a very unpleasant smell and there were no towel hooks in the bathroom? Also, signage is required to get from your room to the guest elevator.

The hotel interior feels dated and in need of renovation, particularly the room furniture. The electric blinds opened on their own twice, once at 9am and once at 8pm, disrupting sleep. The electrical plugs were also loose

Large hotel and good quality facilities despite the age, Good service and willingness to help. The room was ready at 2pm - an hour before at no extra cost! Very nice fitness center and spa! You can open the windows and enjoy!
The hotel is old, you can't compare it to 5 star hotels as you might think, however it is good and justifies its price. The wet sauna was not active - sucks

Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The heated indoor pool and hot tub and sauna were easily accessible so don’t forget a bathing suit.

Beautiful, stunning location and hotel itself. Would have paid to go inside the building itself. Staff were friendly and helpful.
