The history and the beautiful spaces it was close to my daughters accommodation which made it easy.
My room had a funny smell when I arrived they did something but it still had a funny smell

It's a very nice hotel for reasonable price.Spa was excellent and open til late evening.Room size is very good.Breakfast was great.

the staff were all lovely, we didn't eat here so cant comment the rooms were lovely, corridors a bit confusing initially, beds super comfy, pillows are luxury, fridge should be replenished daily ours wasn't but my sons room were
Pool area nice clean and warm
would definitely stay here again, nice walk into hub of things to do in Amsterdam
Menu for bar and restaurant was rather small but may be that we were visiting at a quieter time

The hotel is beautiful to look at and when we went in the staff were very friendly and polite.
Nothing much to find the room was a little hard at the start but once we got our bearings it was ok

When you arrival reception is keen to help. The breakfast was exceptionally good and the spa area was perfect to relax. Best part of the room bathroom especially the bath.
Lighting in bedroom and dinner area is dull, so for us over 50s difficult at times, several steps to get in to hotel was akward with luggage, and staff not very vibriant. They do a good job, but need to just smile more, say hi to customers when walk pass, just be more friendly. One lift, so used stairs a lot.

And Fatima, the only professional worker at the Hotel!
When we got to the Hotel they were disorganised. They had booked us in to a substandard room without discussing the down grade with us. They simply said , sorry we are fully booked.
It took a lot of arguments and time to get a proper room.

The room was lovely and spacious there was however a very damp/drainage smell in our bathroom but after a long stressful journey we didn’t want to change rooms and it didn’t affect the other living area.
On our last morning the hot breakfast was cold the tureens did not feel hot and when mentioned to a staff member there was no apology or explanation.
Other than the above everything else was good
