Location and historical building. Comfy bed.
The windows in the room didn’t close properly. The air con works only with card in so the room was extremely hot when I arrived, and then even with it on, did not cool through the night. The pool was not functioning, but this information was not available here at Booking.com

Location is nice. in the center of the center.
Staff is polite and kind.
bed are not so "new". and some are soggy.
old building is extremely hot in summer (July).
I was placed in two rooms that were problematic(1 very soggy bed, second no hot water and very hot)
the third room was great. what you expect basically...
Pool was not working, although I asked before and been told it is working (apparently its the AI agent that simply does not tell the truth :) )

Staff were great. They responded almost immediately to any of our concerns. Room are cleaned every day, our mini bar was complementary and was restocked daily, and I really appreciate that nice touch.
Most Hotels now a day does not offer complimentary bar anymore which is very frustrating when they fill the bar with alcohol and sensors, making the fridge completely unusable if you want to refrigerate your own drinks—therefore useless.
It has everything I needed in the room, I did not have to asked for any amenities. It is a great location and great place to be while relaxing in Amsterdam. Thank you

Great location that was easy to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, spacious and had lots of amenities for your stay. Overall a great experience. Also upside baths are huge, but not so good if you’re short as there is no grips on the bottom of the tub or handrail on the rim to help you.
Unfortunately during our visit the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable which was a shame

Good location, good size rooms, free minibar, friendly staff and great breakfast.
My daughter and I were both woken up at 5am on both nights we stayed there by (what I assume was) really noisy plumbing/pipes.

Fantastic central location, minutes walk from Amsterdam Central station. Wonderful staff, accommodated our request and we were delighted to be upgraded. Fabulous breakfast, probably the best I've experienced..was sad to have missed on 1st morning due to oversleeping in comfy bed with brilliant blackout curtains. Very special hotel. Hopefully the spa will be working next time as we would love to visit again
Only the spa was out of order, but we had plenty to keep us busy.

Staff all very personable and extremely helpful
If you have mobility problems lots of steep steps at entrance you can get in via side doors and luggage lift. You need to request this everything you go in and out it is locked at all times. If concierge at front he will immediately go and open it for you if not phone the hotel and someone will quickly come. Old building so lots of walking to restaurant bar etc. Manageable if care taken.

The location was fab. So close to Amsterdam central stadium and easy walking to city centre
A bit dated in decoration. Our bed was very uncomfortable
