Location was nice
The spa was closed, no one informed us before, as it we reserved this hotel because we thought we wil get a nice swimming pool! The hotel is old, no renovations visible! Even the tables at the restaurant looked used too hard! In the room was noise from ventilation system! Our friends did not have water each morning! They lived on the 4th floor! So they had to go in the morning to a lower floor to get a shower! Totally not a five or even 4 star hotel! I would say 2 stars would be enough! They have few lifts, the lift what we had to use was old as the building, moved very slow! I hope they have lift maintanace! So would not recommend the hotel!

Breakfast was wonderful. The hotel has lots of historic character, with beautiful features like the stained glass ceilings in the stairwell and breakfast room. The room was comfortable, fairly quiet, and spacious. The location is super convenient, right by the station. As we got a good deal on the booking, we were very happy with the value for money.
The wellness facilities were out of order during our stay, so we weren't able to use the pool, jacuzzi, or steam room. The gym is right by the pool and is around 25°C, which is very hot to work out in. The glass bathroom door does not provide sufficient privacy, and lets light through during the night, meaning you can't make the room fully dark. The water pressure and temperature control in the shower were bad, and there was nowhere in the shower to place your shampoo except the floor. The room cleaning was inconsistent, with some cleanings missing important steps. There were no plugs by the bed. The chairs in the rooms were old, and had lost most of their padding, so not great to sit on. There were regular queues at the front desk, due to a limited number of staff members on duty.

The pictures are deceiving. It’s a very very old hotel which needs a full renovation. Not sure how they still manage to keep the 5 star. Staff are rude and the place stinks of your grandma.
