Bed was comfy. The bathroom was lovely.
The spa swimming pool was out of use and we was not notified when booking. The steam room didn’t work and smelled like eggs. The jacuzzi was cold water. The hotel was very dark and the room was very cold.

Great location, unique old building with lots of character, good bar and restaurant, rooms with high ceilings, nice to have a pool and sauna
1100 check out, rooms a bit dated, glass door on bathroom, ground floor rooms can be looked into from street

Pool wasn't working. Breakfast was too expensive. Hotel is rated 5 star. It is not 5 star. It is 3 star at best. Dusty and untidy in places. Reception staff are not great.

The rooms are so hot and you can't open the windows i get they don't want anyone to smoke but the air-conditioning has been set to change when it wants

Location and Outside of the building is impressive
Dated is an understatement, was expecting Art Deco, which the reception is, but dirty chairs and badly marked wall, hardly what you expect from a 5 star building and as for the corridors to rooms, just seem a dumping ground for old furniture

Great location, close to central station and everything within 20min walk. Beautiful hotel, spa facilities included which was a nice and to each day we stayed. All of the staff were AMAZING, nothing was too much trouble and so friendly - this is my second time staying here in 7 years and would strongly recommend to anyone

Location and room were good
Poor housekeeping, lack of staff attention (didn’t seem to care). This is NOT a 5 star hotel. It’s old, quirky, but not in great shape and the spa was basically shut throughout our stay. Very disappointed ☹️

Where do I begin. The location was great. The history behind this building was interesting. The decor was beautiful. We enjoyed the lounge. It had various snacks, food, and drinks. The restaurant has a good breakfast.
