The room was really nice and the bathroom was spacious, it has a nice view on the park. The rooms are clean and the beds are too. Plenty of storage
The sink was clogged. Took forever to drain.

The location was very convenient, and the park the hostel is in is very cute.
The room was too crowded, with triple-high bunk beds that were very inconvenient. Not enough space for bags.

I loved being in the park and a little bit outside city center. It was fairly easy to get to from the airport. I only had one transfer from the train. The staff was lovely with letting me into the room early (for a fee but it was 5 hours early). It didn't seem like a very mingling type hostel, but we were there on weekdays in the winter so it could have just been the season. We didn't get the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but the coffee was good at the coffee shop.
I am not sure if it was because I checked in early or if it was the luck of the draw, but the room we were in was not like the pretty floor to ceiling window photos. We barely had a window and you couldn't see the sky. They did have some cute art to cover the fact that it felt like you were in a basement on the third floor, which was cute. I am not upset about it, but it would have been nice to see the sun since were there in the middle of winter.

The atmosphere of the hostel was very nice! The breakfast was a great deal for 8€. The hostel was close to a beautiful park and 8min walk to a tram station, or 30 min walk to main attractions in the city.
The room was too small, we booked a room for ourselves and couldn´t move, I cannot imagine sharing it with 5 strangers. The beds were 3-floored bunkers, we had to climb to reach the top. The beds were undone and a bit dirty (stains and hair)). Towels were not provided.

Often crowded, long wait time for front desk, paying 7 euro for a towel??? C’mon now. Will not be staying here again.

The location was ok.
The system at Generator is honestly a headache. You have to carry your access card with you at all times inside the building, as it is required to enter the dormitory wing. Towels were not included, and if you need one, they charge 7 euros, which I find excessive considering that towels are included in most places. To use a hair dryer, you have to request it at reception, which I found surprising, especially because they also ask you to show your passport as identification. I had already checked in, so obviously I was not carrying my passport around everywhere. If they are worried about guests taking items, they should simply have a checklist of what is included in each room, instead of making the stay feel like being in a controlled facility. The rules feel very much like being back in school. On top of that, the heating did not work properly during our stay, so the room felt very cold at night.
