- Shower pressure was quite good
- Bed was king size and I loved how big it really is
- Not city center but wasn’t really a problem for us since there’s a lot of good restaurants nearby

The kitchen is fantastic. Being able to just warm something is great. I also liked how the room is arranged with a sofa are, and a real eating table.
The view onto the roof of the shopping mall (2nd floor room) is not great.

Went there for business. The room was lovely and I know the area around the hotel very well, it’s amazing.
Check in and check out were felt highly unwelcoming. At check in I was asked to directly pay a deposit of 100 euros to the hotel. Mind you, I had already payed for the two nights in advance. I offered my credit card (I figured for possible future expenses), but it was insisted I pay the deposit at the spot. I would get the deposit back at check out. After that, I was made to sign for a ‘waiver to not smoke’, which I found unnecessary (I’ve never smoked and hotels generally just have a sign in the room), and then it turned out the waiver contained much more information than just the non smoking. Which would never have been a problem, but the way things were presented was just so odd. At check out, I was informed the hotel had increased the room rate, and I was asked to sign for that. Another surprise. That amount was actually withheld from the deposit, and then I was informed I wouldn’t receive my money right away, but that it typically took ‘a little while’. Anywhere from two to five days… I figured I would go home and contact Booking’s customer service about the extra room charge, but they automatically refer you to the hotel. Bad service all around.

The staff was beyond friendly and truly patient and professional. We were trying to remember all the names but it's been a long month since our stay and ... Well Amsterdam fog is thick... But special thanks to Gaby, the lady from Hong Kong and Antonio from breakfast. Also special shout-out to : Anka, Catalán girl, the flowers girl and all the staff from the front desk and to the director; sorry again!
Lack of rooms for smokers or a more cozy place to smoke, as smoking under the snow novelty wears very quickly under the cold winters.
The floor division of the bathroom and the main room is more painful than stepping on Lego with cold feet... In the future renovations consider a more seamless jointing.

Nice spacious studio-rooms. The staff is very kind and helpfull. We have been in this hotel several times already. It's perfectly located in Amsterdam-South, away from the crowds yet close to everything. dogs are welcome at an extra fee. There is a parking (P1) under the hotel where you pay a max of 20,00 euros per day.
The extra fees for dogs are a bit high. 25,00 per night per dog.
