Wonderful
A waltz to get here from the airport, we were checked into the hotel within an hour of the plane landing at Schiphol. Perfect if laden with heavy luggage. 15mins train from airport, and literally a stone's throw to the door of the hotel. Then an easy metro into the centre of town for sightseeing.
It's an EasyHotel so keep expectations based on that, but it's a good EasyHotel. Staff were super friendly, self checkin was super simple, rooms were clean and comfortable, nothing to complain about.
It's a bit sparse around the hotel but you're here for the location. Restaurant/bar offerings are mediocre but there's a well stocked Albert Heijn supermarket next door and a Lidl supermarket around the corner.
The hotel is literally in the shadows of Ajax football stadium so it must be nuts here on match day. That could be a positive for some and a negative for others, but the atmosphere must be amazing!

Very Poor
The location was good to the train station to take a 25min to downtown. If you are going to a football game, it’s right at the stadium.
The hotel halls reeked of pee and fish. What was worse was in our hotel room, there was a used pregnancy test inside my pillow!! The TV also would not work. It froze every 10mins and you had to change the channel to get it to work again. Avoid

Great location for a concert! easyHotel Amsterdam Arena Boulevard is right next to the arena, making it the perfect choice for a night's stay after a show.
