Really nice staff they gave an upgrade and very good guest facilities and breakfast but location is a bit cumbersome to reach with a 20 min free ferry ride! No complaints otherwise!

The staff, hands down, are the highlight of the property! The amenities and atmosphere were phenomenal, as well as it being in an ideal location- directly next to the free ferry that goes to Amsterdam Centraal train station. We missed our train to London and found this unknown gem in our last-minute search for a place to stay for the night. The staff were so personable and accommodating, and even upgraded our stay- with a special chocolate cookie treat. We paid 55€ to get to the hotel by Taxi and were going to catch one again to back when the wonderful clerk told us about the free ferry! Our unexpected last night in Amsterdam was worthwhile!

It was perfectly close to the event we had at the Wharf
The only way into the hotel was theough revolting doors. But I am in a wheelchair. Even though I can walk a few steps, I shouldn't have to get out of my electric wheelchair for someone else to carry him in. And someone else to have to support me through those doors where if I had fallen, it would have been a real issue.
The bed was also very high to get onto and defenitely not at transfer height. And even the bathroom had a step into it so couldnt drive my wheelchair in. Nor was a showerchair available.

very disappointing experience
I booked this hotel through Booking.com thinking there was only one DoubleTree by Hilton in Amsterdam, but when I arrived, I found out my booking was for a completely different location across the river — about 20 minutes away by car.
To avoid full cancellation fees, I stayed just one night and checked out the next day. When I spoke to the manager, he refused to refund the extra two nights and blamed Booking.com, even though Booking.com confirmed by email that they would contact the hotel to arrange a refund.
The hotel itself was not impressive — the location is very inconvenient, the rooms are small, and the lighting is terrible. Definitely not what I expected from a Hilton property.
I moved the next day to DoubleTree by Hilton Central Station, which was a completely different (and much better) experience. I would not recommend this property.

I did a reservation on booking app for 2 nights for 150 a night and after my other son confirmed that he will be in Amsterdam I texted the hotel and asked for an extra bed on our room. And the “ automated chat”’book anotherr room and charged me extra bed in ne of the rooms . I ended up paying a 1000 dollars for two nights stay . And the front desk person “Bente” kept saying that the mistake was done by booking and I should complain with them. So I was tired after leaving a Airbnb house … with bags and stressed on a Friday afternoon ! I was stressed after signing for the 1000 dollars stay bill and called my son . When he said that he was coming I went down the lobby and saw the receptionist jumping and celebrating her high sale ( screwed me) and when she saw me she tried to disguise the attitude with the other receptionist! I just look at her and walked to
The front door to receive my son , he ended up on the other room booked by the AI Chat bot and stayed there for 1 night and the following night the 3 of is stayed together on the room 304.

When I asked for an extra bed on the same room ,
Conclusion : I am travelling to Amsterdam often
And have friends and clients over there … I share my experience and I am wise they will think better before booking another reservation on the same location . I am a 5 star client in all our network… and after that experience I am certain it would be the very last one
The employees ( they may be not well trained ) and just greedy to make commissions over the desk deals … we are not planning to get back there! And I will spread that experience to my 20.000 plus business connections through my business platforms! It was outrageous!

The breakfast was a good Continental breakfast. The location is close enough to centraal station that you can take the ferry and be close to downtown, but there is also a lot of restaurants,museums a lot of activities in. the NDSM area that are close to the hotel.
