Everything was very clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. It is a quiet neighborhood, but very close to the museums, and some eateries.
It was a bit pricey for my very small room, but I have to say it was still comfortable.

De Ware Jacob is a beautiful hotel with impeccably professional and warm staff. While breakfast was not included, we delighted in enjoying excellent wine in the hotel’s serene and inviting lounge. The location was perfect.
We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel due to the price; however, given the high level of service throughout our stay, we believe it would have been delicious and a lovely addition to the experience.

The hotel is beautiful, very well located and I believe that it gives the charming experience of a real Dutch building. The breakfast is great, they offer many options, everything is fresh, carefully prepared and tasty. The room was super comfortable, shower was nice and they leave complimentary drinks on the mini bar. The hotel also has fun games and amenities that are available to the guests. My special compliments go to the staff, particularly Anastasia and the manager Nikolay. They treated us with care and were very friendly.

De Ware Jacob is cozy and beautiful.. Rooms are at an acceptable size by European standards . Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a small garden that adds up to the charm..
The location is about 30 mins from Dam square… which was suitable for us.
The hotel provides several parking options at different prices and proximity and they provide you with a list of nearby places to eat with their own personal rating.

The room did not feel cramped with the three of us. We loved the salon with the games. We spent a couple evenings playing and laughing and having a refreshment.
The stairs are dangerous lol. I took the lift everytime.

Great location near the museums. Lovely sun room for breakfast or a lol prosecco in the evening. Fun, eclectic decor in the living room. Spotlessly clean room with a modern bathroom. Appreciate the lift/elevator as the stairs are typically Dutch (steep!). Kind staff. Nice breakfast. 10 mins walk to museums, which is my goal when traveling! Would definitely stay here again!
Rooms are small by US standards, but that’s to be expected of a room in a city center in Europe. For me it was fine, since I was traveling solo and with only a carryon suitcase. But I really don’t see how two even small suitcases would fit in the room at all! Just keep in mind or book a larger room if you need the space. Just a minor note/warning to those who don’t travel light. Really lovely hotel, though!

Rooms were quiet, modern, well appointed and spotless. Showers were especially great. Breakfast was excellent, with quality materials, flexible times, and to-order egg's. Staff was over-the-top friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Lounge/breakfast area was comfortable and not loud. Some mini-bar options are free. They have an honor bar in the lounge/dining room with decent selection in beer and wine.
Rooms were not generous size. Views were not spectacular.
