The interior of the hotel is awesome. The location is pretty good too (just about 2 minutes aways from the metro station). All staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfasts are very decent, too! Overall, I would recommend Corendon Amsterdam.
The only more or less serious problem occured with the elevators. For some reason, only one of three available was functioning throughout our stay, which made going up and down quite an experience, because the elevator was basically stopping on every floor every time we took it. But that was the only issue we faced.

Great location as visiting a friend close by. Great transport link to Amsterdam centre.
Excellent choice for breakfast. Comfortable room.
Staff polite and helpful. We used the pool, although there was a cost of €19 each, that entitled the use of the spa facilities for the duration of our stay.
On our first night we were unable to go into the bar as there was a private event, a bit disappointed as our friend came over for a drink before we headed down to a nearby restaurant.

the elevator were not working first days - one elevator only for the 700 rooms
The elevator was not working on -1 on the way to spa
the room service was not working during holidays regularly, only on demand

Value for money, location 30-40 from city centre but transport is good and located next to the hotel
