I loved the bath, the bed, the spa
The fact that the spa was only open for women, while I had booked the room for a romantic getaway with my partner who couldn't join the spa.

Conveniently located of Tram 2 and easy to get to all the sites. They had a 24 hour store with snacks and drinks. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!

It was nice space and clean
On Thursday evening they had very loud music during their weekly Caribbean night until 11:30 pm! We had a room right above that on the first floor. We booked the room to stay there during recovery after surgery in the nearby hospital so this was really not helpful.

This was a surprise! I loved the food, spa and decor. The nest was fine but not as lovely as it could be. However very happy with everything.
The spa was full of men for the sauna part. Not really the hotels fault but I do wish there was a little oversight. I saw phones and they were super loud. I recommend you bring a friend if you are female.

Breakfast was good along with the spa. It was also close to transit which was a bonus.
The spa stuff in the main shower room ran out and wasn’t refilled in a timely manner. I also didn’t like the elevators taking a bunch of time to go between floors. Also, one night I asked for ice and then it was never delivered.

The location is fantastic, the metro and trams are really close.
The deposit is huge and there were many things malfunctioning and missing in our rooms, we went to the reception to report things like missing towels, fridge that was not working on daily basis. In the end we recovered the deposit but those issues with the room and stress with the deposit put a shadow on our trip.

The staff was not accommodating, although the occupancy was not 100%, my request for a 2-hour late check-out was denied.
The payment process is very complex. They charged my card 3 times and then 2 transactions were reverted. Now I need to track these transactions. This is the first time I've come across such complex payment process.

Location was around 25 mn to central station but you can reach with only one tram. Distance to airport was also manageable with a train and tram. We realized we could also use one bus to reach to airport with our return. You just need to walk to the station like 15 mn. Hotel employees were kind and helpful. I could stay safely with my 2 kids.
There was nothing I did not like.

Very helpful staff, great breakfast. It was a 20 minute metro ride to city center which ended up to be a good thing as Amsterdam is a very busy and congested city so was good to unwind in a more mellow area.

Location was ideal to catch the tram into town and other local areas. The bed was comfortable and rooms spacious.
Any issues reported to staff was not taken seriously and they didn't really do anything about it including tvs being down for 3 days (wasn't an issue for us as we were out but a friend who was poorly and had to stay at the hotel to recover didn't have it) and there was a perfume launch in the bar downstairs one might and the noise was vibrating the room till midnight. Staff didn't care.
Spa and pool facilities were expensive and not accessible all the time. Needed flip flops which was not mentioned to us before arrival and were expensive to buy
