I love everything about this hotel. Its very well situated, beautifully designed, the staff a casual, friendly and helpful. The organic breakfast is excellent and I align with environmentally conscious values of the place. 10/10!

The entire place is run by a few women. From the reception to the Maintenance and all of them are very helpful and so friendly. Loved it there. Rekha goes out of her way to assist everyone who walks inn. She greets everyone with a big Amsterdam smile. One of the most friendly countries. Love the country and the people. Room's estatic was so chic. Bed was comfortable, their drip coffee was amazing and the chips as a FOC was cream on the cake ( as people would say).

Personalised and warm welcome on arrival and our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was lovely to be offered a glass of cava on arrival and find brownies waiting in our room! The bed was extremely comfortable with a choice of pillows. It was also quiet in the hotel, particularly at night, so it was easy to get to sleep. Fabulous shower and toiletries. We had everything we needed and all of the staff we met were helpful and attentive. The hotel is in a great location, A quick 5 minute walk to the Van Gogh and other fantastic museums and close to Vondelpark too. Great transport links to central Amsterdam and the airport (2 mins to bus and tram stops). We also walked a few times from the centre in around 40 minutes at a leisurely pace. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink nearby. We didnt have breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to get out and make the most of our short stay but it did look gorgeous! Very easy check in and out too. Our only regret was that we didnt make it to the daily wine hour. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Her warmth and happiness are contagious, and she genuinely goes out of her way to make sure every guest feels taken care of. Marjolijn is not only attentive but also radiates a sense of calm, as if she’s the heart of the hotel—like the loving “mamma” of the place, making sure everyone feels welcomed and at home. Her sweet demeanor and helpful nature add a new layer of charm to the hotel. It’s rare to come across someone who brings such an uplifting spirit to their work, and she truly enhances the entire experience. I left feeling not only well-rested but also inspired by the kindness she exudes. If you’re looking for a hotel with a welcoming, positive vibe, great style, and a personal touch, the Conscious Hotel is where you need to be. The hotel is well situated, all the major museums are just a short walk away. I always enjoy the casual atmosphere, the staff are easy going, helpful and friendly. I love the ethos and design of the hotel. I had a wonderful stay.

Hotel was wonderful, lovely rooms, comfy beds and in a great location. However it was the staff that really stood as absolutely amazing! Really friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as it could be. The lovely lady who cooked breakfast each morning was so nice to us and our daughter and the breakfast was delicious! Will be staying again!
