It is very close to the museum quarter and close to a tram stop for several trams that go to other areas of city. If you’re interested in museums, Vondelpark or other central sites it is wonderful. Several restaurants around, including Italian and burgers. Staff are happy to provide recommendations. Our room had a small balcony with 2 doors we opened to cool the room. Our friend’s room overlooked the street with bowed windows that I believe opened for air. We were both pleased.
Perfect for us. No dislikes.

I love this hotel. It felt like home. It has lovely, cozy design touches, good breakfast and a great location close to both the museum, restaurants and Vondel park
If you’re a light sleeper, choose a room away from the street.

Nice big room w big comfortable bed, big windows, modern shower, lovely staff, nice garden patio for breakfast or to have a drink. Not far from Tram & there are many restaurants nearby.

Staff was very accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. Among them, Monica, Rekha, Khana, Morjolijn and Maja were all excellent. A special thank you to Yael from housekeeping, who helped with all of our needs. The shower in the room was excellent and we had plenty of towels. Breakfast was very good with plenty to eat. Small hotel but great location and walking distance to the museums and the Royal Concertgebouw. Plenty of places to eat.

Paula and I had a wonderful stay. The staff of the Conscious Hotel Museum Square could not have been kinder or more efficient during our six day stay in Amsterdam. The breakfast was superbly prepared and delicious. Each day, housekeeping consistently prepared our room splendidly.

Very friendly staff. Room size was good and there is a pillow menu. There are nice small touches like a free bag of chips and a nuts bar. The location was very close to the Rijks museum and not too far from the city center. The breakfast was also good and had a good selection including omelettes and eggs.
The water pressure in the shower was a little low. And due to the design, there is no door in the shower area and a lack of privacy.

Awesome hotel overall. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding too. It's fairly pricey for the room size, but I think that's basically just Amsterdam all around. Highly recommend the property.

10/10 amazing room so comfortable spacious and clean. Staff super friendly, they were all here to assist and answer questions. The location is the best a very calm neighborhood the bis that goes to the airport is literally in front of the door and you have the metro station with a direct line to almost everyone 4 minutes next to the hotel with an Albert heijn across the street. Loved it so much

It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I liked its location, we felt safe with my 7 year-old son to walk around. It is close to museums and there are trams to Centraal Amsterdam trainstation.
There could be a mini fridge in the room. Despite looking very stylish, it was a bit difficult to hang our clothes to the hangers.

This was a perfect location for exploring Amsterdam. It was very close to the museums and some excellent cafes/restaurants. We did not end up needing to use the tram, but the tram stop was a very short walk from the hotel. It was also quite easy to get an Uber from and to the airport.
The biggest complaint I have is with Booking.com which is what I used to book this stay and NOT with Concious Hotel. Booking.com offered a free taxi from the airport to this hotel and that was part of why I booked this hotel. However, the link to be able to book the free taxi was buried in the confirmation email and in addition the link expires and DISAPPEARS if you do not book the taxi more than 24hrs prior to your arrival. This was not made very clear with the confirmation. I spent hours the morning of our arrival trying to find the link and also trying to contact booking.com. I finally gave up and paid for an Uber. I did not find out about the link expiraton until SEVERAL DAYS after we had already checked in and out for our 2 night stay. I now refuse to use booking.com as it appeared as a bait and switch tactic. This has nothing to do with Concious Hotel, but I am writing this to inform the hotel management that they need to make sure that they list on more than one booking platform as booking.com has some questionable practices that they should be weary of being associated with. Concious Hotel itself was very good, but some suggestoins to make it even better: 1) mini fridge in the room 2) small closet/storage for clothes and luggage 3) frosted shower door or possibly a curtain at the door which leads to the sink/shower area of the bathroom. Would definitely love to stay here again, but will try to book directly or through any other platform aside from booking.com

Efficient and speedy communication on WhatsApp. The location is perfect. Easy to get to the museums and to reach pretty much anywhere by walking or Uber. Friendly staff and you have a free wine and cheese from 5-6! That was quite nice!
The room was not like in the picture. The picture had a bathtub which to be honest was one of the reasons I booked. I love a good soak. If I knew I was gonna get a normal shower head then I could’ve booked a cheaper hotel as there were plenty of options. The speaker was not functioning and neither was the phone! Had to go all the way downstairs to ask or request for things. Speaker wasn’t repaired either.
