Wonderful
It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I liked its location, we felt safe with my 7 year-old son to walk around. It is close to museums and there are trams to Centraal Amsterdam trainstation.
There could be a mini fridge in the room. Despite looking very stylish, it was a bit difficult to hang our clothes to the hangers.

Wonderful
This was a perfect location for exploring Amsterdam. It was very close to the museums and some excellent cafes/restaurants. We did not end up needing to use the tram, but the tram stop was a very short walk from the hotel. It was also quite easy to get an Uber from and to the airport.
The biggest complaint I have is with Booking.com which is what I used to book this stay and NOT with Concious Hotel. Booking.com offered a free taxi from the airport to this hotel and that was part of why I booked this hotel. However, the link to be able to book the free taxi was buried in the confirmation email and in addition the link expires and DISAPPEARS if you do not book the taxi more than 24hrs prior to your arrival. This was not made very clear with the confirmation. I spent hours the morning of our arrival trying to find the link and also trying to contact booking.com. I finally gave up and paid for an Uber. I did not find out about the link expiraton until SEVERAL DAYS after we had already checked in and out for our 2 night stay. I now refuse to use booking.com as it appeared as a bait and switch tactic. This has nothing to do with Concious Hotel, but I am writing this to inform the hotel management that they need to make sure that they list on more than one booking platform as booking.com has some questionable practices that they should be weary of being associated with. Concious Hotel itself was very good, but some suggestoins to make it even better: 1) mini fridge in the room 2) small closet/storage for clothes and luggage 3) frosted shower door or possibly a curtain at the door which leads to the sink/shower area of the bathroom. Would definitely love to stay here again, but will try to book directly or through any other platform aside from booking.com

Efficient and speedy communication on WhatsApp. The location is perfect. Easy to get to the museums and to reach pretty much anywhere by walking or Uber. Friendly staff and you have a free wine and cheese from 5-6! That was quite nice!
The room was not like in the picture. The picture had a bathtub which to be honest was one of the reasons I booked. I love a good soak. If I knew I was gonna get a normal shower head then I could’ve booked a cheaper hotel as there were plenty of options. The speaker was not functioning and neither was the phone! Had to go all the way downstairs to ask or request for things. Speaker wasn’t repaired either.

Staff were super nice, welcoming and helpful.
The location is really good, quiet and very close to museumplein as well as public transportation.
Beds and linen were nice, too.
The stylish room looks way better on the pictures than it actually is. No wardrobe or any sort of storage to put your daily clothes or luggage in, only a tiny shelf. A minuscule sink in the bathroom which is not separated from the main area. It doesn't feel like the designer/architect actually tried living in this space.

Disappointing
The location was fine.
The shower and toilet were absolutely disgusting. The shower was riddled with black mold and there was a dried brown smear on the door to the toilet, the origin of which I don’t even want to consider. We were traveling with our toddler and spent much of our time in the room trying to keep her away from the mold. Very much regret not spending the extra £50 on a nicer room in a more central location.

Wonderful
Hotel staff including the cleaning services were kind and very helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the museum square area and beyond, and we were able to walk everywhere with the hotel serving as a home base. Complimentary wine and cheese 5-6pm every day was a very nice bonus.
Room was a bit small but functional and worked overall for my husband (5' 6") and I (5' 2") who are smaller than average. Lack of a refrigerator and microwave, and too many unavailable tv channels were very minor inconveniences

Spacious room facing a quiet inner courtyard with a garden and trees. The minimal design is pleasant, and the staff were welcoming. The lobby is quiet and intimate, with a peaceful garden terrace at the back. Excellent location next to museums.
Like many hotels in the Netherlands, the room was not very clean. There is no air conditioning, so it’s best to avoid this hotel if you are sensitive to heat in the summer.

We had a really wonderful stay here. The staff was remarkably welcoming, kind, and generous with us. Between letting us check in early with our baby to decorating my room for my birthday, they really outdid themselves in making us feel special. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location and everything was clean, comfortable, and well-considered. We really appreciated the elevator and AC, along with the ability to eat our take away dinner in the garden. I would love to stay here again!

Great size room, very modern and clean. Staff were great , we were at first level so we had small backyard which was great
It might not be a big deal but it was 20-30 min ride to old town and sight seeing area in Amstrdam. But location was really nice in general. It is 5 min walk. To museum district and public transportation.
