I love the location. It is so easy to get to everything.Its a very peaceful area. You can walk to Dam Square and around so easily taking in all the sights. Vondelpark and Leidseplein so close. Museumplein next door.
I had the big double room which was at the front with big windows and spacious. The bathroom was great with all you needed. At first when i saw the mattress being so thin i though i would have a problem but was very comfortable as were the pillows.
The breakfast and area was fantastic. Not only is it a really relaxing place to have breakfast but the food is great as is the coffee. Staff really friendly including the house keeper.
Stayed two nights and was very comfortable. Could have stayed longer.
I was lucky being early September and cool weather but i wouldnt recommend this hotel in the summer as no Air Con. This really needs to be addressed for the price paid. I would say you wouldnt sleep at all in the summer especially at the back of the hotel which gets hotter.
I would suggest the tvs need to be upgraded as they are not Smart Tvs but to be honest this is a small thing compared to the air con which i think is essential in this hotel.
If you stay in the front of the hotel can be really noisy. Not to bad with the windows closed. The bonus though of the front is the huge bay windows which are wonderful to look outside and light.
Would be nice to have umbrellas that you could borrow.
In all honesty the hotel is great but 100% needs aircon for summer. I hope they get this sorted. If you go outside the summer then perfect. The heating came on and worked well in the cool morning.

Perfect location - we wanted to visit all the major museums and they were right on the doorstep. The staff were really friendly - there was welcome drinks and cheese and wine every night if you so wished. Very comfortable and big rooms.

Nice property on a quiet street. The rooms were SUPER spacious, which was perfect for me - plenty of room for my suitcases and still lots of space to move around comfortably. After staying in a few more compact hotel rooms, I definitely appreciated the space here!
Loved the Harman Kardon speaker in my room - such a nice touch. Ya-el, our housekeeping lady, was also super friendly and welcoming. Loved her!
Unfortunately, the internet went down on Tuesday and remained unavailable through Thursday. We were told this was due to an issue with the service provider, so understandably not entirely within the hotel’s control, but it was still inconvenient given how digitised the hotel experience is.
A couple of room features could also have been better. There was no enclosed wardrobe, just a small section against the wall with enough hanging space for around 6–7 garments, which wasn’t really enough for a longer stay. There was also no iron or ironing board in the room; I tried to get one one evening, but the iron had apparently gone walkies! The pillows were wayyy too soft for me, although I was able to get some extras from downstairs.
There’s no real formal reception to welcome guests, which made the experience feel a little informal for my preference.
Location-wise, I had to walk a little to find cafés and coffee shops for breakfast or lunch. I tend to prefer having more immediately on my doorstep, so I’d probably choose a slightly different area next time - although I did enjoy all the walking and getting my 10,000+ steps in!

We absolutely loved our stay at Conscious Hotel. The staff were incredible – Monika, Yael, Vicky and Rekha couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our visit. The evening wine and cheese was such a lovely touch and made the hotel feel really special. Our room was perfect for what we needed: simple, calm and beautifully finished with high‑quality materials. The location was very convenient - quiet and yet close to everything. Would definitely stay again.

Really great hotel with very friendly staff. A perfect location for getting the tram into the city and not far away from some lovely restaurants and cafes. Great location for getting to museums as well.
I don’t really enjoy self check ins at hotels but that was a minor thing. I just feel it takes away from the human experience but any issues we had with it, there was someone on hand to help :)
