The room was perfectly fine and bed was comfortable.
The room was very expensive for the amenities and facilities provided. At £250/€280 a night, I would have expected toiletries to have been provided. No hand soap, no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner, etc., provided. I was shocked upon arrival that a refundable deposit of €125 per person was required. This was not explained in advance and what if you are not in a position to be able to pay this on arrival? You are also not allowed any visitors in the room, which is very strange for a hotel which you have paid for. Every time you leave, you are also asked what your room number is. If I had known any of this in advance, I would have booked a nicer hotel with greater amenities for a fractional amount more.

Location was good. Beds comfortable.
Very very small room, definitely not deluxe in any way, despite the balcony and description. Bathroom was not clean, water on the floor, streaks on faucet, mirror, sink and toilet paper holder. Sharp corner on the bed was painful to bump into, when trying to go around the room.

The rooms are compact but very cute and comfortable! I slept well - and had the best shower I’ve ever had in Amsterdam! They’ve used the space really well so even though the room I had was small (and I’m very tall!), it was super-comfortable! The location was incredible for all the main places to visit in Amsterdam, and the 24h reception was reassuring, knowing I could get in whatever time I got back
The lack of a lift gave me a good leg workout each time I headed up to the fourth floor!

Clean room, really comfy bed and nice white bedding . Reception staff were so polite and friendly
Steep stairs to the reception and then up to the room . Outside noise at night however, we weee in the centre and hotel had earplugs in room if needed. I didn’t need them .
