The location is good and great restaurants and shops very close. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is different, colorful and has character. Good wifi.
You have to go to another hotel for breakfast, there was some noise in the evenings, there is no common area to sit which would be good because the rooms are small. There is no lift and the steps in the stairs are narrow and 5 floors.

Disappointing
The room was small but clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel does not have any breakfast facilities and you get a voucher for breakfast at another hotel around the corner. The breakfast buffet is good and generous.
Ideal location if you want to enjoy the night life and don't mind loud singing outside at 5am (less ideal if you do).
The room was already prepaid. When arriving we were requested to have an additional deposit of EUR 250 blocked on our credit card and to sign a declaration the hotel can claim the deposit if we damage the room, check out too late or lose the keys (two standard plastic cards). It makes you wonder what guests the place caters for if they have to protect the rooms like this.
The "bathroom" is a narrow cubicle attached to the wall of the bedroom with the entire length facing the room made from (partially opaque) glass and gives you very little privacy.

Nicely renovated, clean, comfortable bed, nice people. There are no breakfast facilities - you get a voucher for the NH hotel around the corner, which fortunately serves an excellent breakfast.
The entire hotel is up a long, steep flight of stairs, and the rooms are up another. People with mobility issues would be unable to make this work. My room overlooked the Rembrandtplein and was noisy until very late .. the hotel provides complementary earplugs.

The room was very hot, couldn’t sleep at all. I told the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do just leave the AC on all day but didn’t work,

Its a dingy hotel with no elevators & staff is rude & has no idea of customer service
Not good area ,noisy, over priced , no elevators & all rooms are on 2nd & 3rd floors, steep floors ,rooms not clean ,bad customer service ,wont accommodate anything small or big , overall" AVOID "

It's in the perfect location which made it easy to navigate around Amsterdam.
The booking.com listing stated that 1. Breakfast was included (it was NOT!) and 2. They had bikes on site to borrow (and they did NOT!) These were both frustrating as these are the reasons I booked the hotel!
AND both showers in both rooms leaked water and got several of our items wet outside of the bathroom.

The property location is perfect , clean and very accessible with public transport
The receptionist aleketta I think was not helpful at all and she was giving us attitude and, once I arrived after a long trip and I was exhausted me and my wife and we have a large luggage, my room was on the 4th floor so I asked if there is an elevator she said no and sarcastically asked us is it ur first time in Amsterdam and i answered no it’s my 6th time she said all Amsterdam doesn’t have elevators , I understand that there is a lot of hotels doesn’t have elevators but I all the hotels that I stayed in Amsterdam did have an elevator, any way I asked her if there is someone to help us with the luggage to the 4th floor and she also said no and she didn’t even care , I hade to take all my luggage to the 4th floor and I hurt my back doing this which was so inconvenient as I went up and down for 3 times to move all my luggage. And there was also 2 other situations which I faced with her. And also she refused to store our luggage for free at our checkout unless I leave a good review which I refused and she made me pay 15 euros to store my luggage .

My stay was very convenient. The place was very clean and really friendly staff. They are very helpful ladies. One of them assisted me with my luggages despite there was no elevator. Only 14 min walk to the dam square, i enjoyed the walk while heading there. However, the middle ground lil bit noisy when it’s crowded in the night. But it didn’t feel dab for me. It was vey cheerful to hear people laughing and celebrating in the night.
