The location was really good, very central. The hotel was clean and the staff was okay.
The room was small. The only big problem is that the sink is very small, and water leaks every time you wash your face.

Excellent location, just far enough from the Central Station to be out of the noisy and messy touristy bits, room was as "Nederland" as you could get: creative, pragmatic, clean and with a few cute surprises courtesy of architecture, steel beams and fun staff!

Great hotel, but you should know there is no lift, so if you have lots of luggage, you have to carry it yourself up the stairs; the rooms are very nice but small, typical of hotels in Amsterdam.

It was clean
If you are here for a fun party weekend and dont mind noise, then location is perfect for bars and cafe. It is the centre of everything. For me the noise from people out on the square until 4am was too much and with jet lag that was hard going.
There is No lift and there a LOT of stairs. Rooms are tiny. No where to put your case on the floor. Wardrobe is 3 hangers on a hook behind the curtains.

Room is big enough and well equipped
Huge noise from the street all night as windows are right in front of bog square with restaurants. Toilet door made of glass gives no sound isolation. Even if room is ready at 13.00 you have to pay 25 eur or wait for keys till 15.00. You need to pay to leave luggage after check out.

The hotel is located in the city centre, which makes sightseeing quite easy and comfortable.
The rooms are bit small, but nevertheless very modern and nice.
