Wonderful
Small room but clean and serve tgw purpose of bed and breakfast.
Staff is always supportive and so kind.. Front desk operate 24/7...
Breakfast is good with acceptable diversity..

Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The staff were helpful and friendly in every way. For instance, I lost my room key and they give me a new one without any charge. The breakfast is okey. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.
The only thing I wasn't happy about was the location, unfortunately. I don't know if it's related to the hotel or Amsterdam in general, but the walking time from the hotel to the sights in Amsterdam was always the same as the time it took to get there by public transport because you have to walk to Central Station to get anywhere. However, being a bit further from the center offers a quieter environment, so I can say that's a good thing in a way.

The location is 8 min walk from the central station, close to all the commercial streets and offering a great breakfast limited but delicious, the staff was great and very helpful.
The stairs are narrow and unsafe when carrying luggage.

Great staff, very nice breakfast each morning. Our room was very quiet and had a large bathroom.
It also had windows that opened, so we were able to cool the room down when needed.
The staircase was a monster! It was very steep and the elevator didn't go to our floor. We are older, so this may not be an issue for younger people, but we found it difficult.

The location walking distance to the central train station was perfect for our needs. The staff was very very helpful. They stored our luggage early the day of checkin. The front desk staff helped us with several directions to get to starting points of tours we had booked independently. They were extremely helpful arranging early breakfast that allowed us to get out the door bright and early to start our visit in Amsterdam. The recommendation of the little nearby restaurant Captein &Co was perfect for us. It was a hidden gem walking distance away after a long day of travel. We went there twice. We made a good choice for the hotel.
Our room was a basement choice which we made as it cost a little less. Keep in mind that the small flight of stairs is steep. They were good to store our large suitcase upstairs in the locked closet. It would have been hard for us to get it down the stairs without a struggle.

The staff really understands what is SERVICE in hospitality. Had an issue with my bed, and they could promptly address it with the manager and proposed a positive alternative in real time.
Very helpful and empathic.
I would love to have better amenities in the room. Like a coffee machine and better toiletries, but for the rate is fair enough. I would come back, no doubt.

Great location. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We were in room A04 - it is a horrible little room. The ceiling is so low that even a relatively short person can hit their head on the beams. Even with the window open, there is little air circulation in the room. There is no elevator to the room and no air conditioning in that room. I understand that other rooms have both elevators and air conditioning. In my view, this room should either be decommissioned or sold at a significant discount.

The location is good —close to the city center and just a short walk from the central train station. The staff are friendly and helpful, which adds a welcoming touch to the stay
The rooms are quite small, making it difficult to move around—especially if you're traveling with someone else or have multiple bags. There's also no air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in warmer weather.
