Great offf the beaten path quite location super clean
24/7 in hotel and staff was amazing . Even had umbrellas for you to use

- super friendly staff
- right next to metro station
- very quiet, no noises
- rooms can be a little tight if you are traveling with others. For me alone was perfect
- location is 2 metro stops from main area and 3 stops from central. Again was fine for me just buy a 24-48-72 hour metro pass and you get used to the stations very fast

location was right next to tram stop and subway. the room was king bed and good space for europe. the room was modern and digital iPad to change lights/curtains. clean and bar was 24 hrs. little bakery next door for breakfast.
Room size could have been a little bigger, but for europe it was great.

I always stay at Citizen M when I can in the US and abroad, this was the first time I was able to ride a bike around Amsterdam, thanks to Citizen M. Always a good time.
There is nothing to dislike except the fact that I couldn't stay longer.

Since check in till check out, everything went great, we arrived at night and had no issues checking in with the help of the staff and finally the day that we had to check out they were very nice to help us hold our luggage while we had the last tour around the city. There is also a common area in the ground floor where we spent the last part of the day while we waited to go to the airport. The bed was comfortable, the room space was enough for 2 and one big luggage, everything was very clean and I should definitely highlight the hotel staff as everyone was always willing to help and they served with a smile.
The only thing that didn't went as planned was that we used the iPad in the room to book the cleaning for the following day and when we returned they did not clean the room (yet). We did call to reception and someone came to do the room very fast after we called, so issue was solved finally.

The common spaces in the lobby area were perfect for gathering and regrouping as well as relaxing and comfortable.
The rooms are small but the common spaces make up for it.

It is a bit far from the center but there is metro station nearby which is very helpful. The room is small but ok - there are all the technology goodies, like using a table to manage the lights and curtains which we didn't care much about. I really missed being able to open the window or having a balcony, that would have made the stay totally perfect.
Breakfast is not included, you can get it on the nearby bakery and it is really good. They had a good vegan sandwich option.
No windows or balconies in the room.

THe hotel did not have my booking when I arrived.
I was 'upgraded' to an unsuitable room.
I expect some cleaning to be done each day - it was not.
I ofund the iPad controlled room irritating, I had to switch it on each time i wanted to turn a light off
