Beautifully converted church set in a quiet residential area. Easy access to Amsterdam centre from the nearby railway station, a ten minute walk away. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. A fridge and a coffee machine were also in the room. All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold food, juice, coffee and fruit. The breakfast room, and adjacent dance/art studio is stunning. A really lovely hotel.

We had a Frenchy room and this was large with comfy beds. We slept really well. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. There was so much choice! You could have fried egg, scrambled egg, bacon, pancakes, pastries, toast and cereal. We could also have a variety of hot drinks. The hotel was easy to access from central Amsterdam. It was 5 stops on the underground and then a short walk. The neighbourhood was quiet so we weren’t kept awake. It made a great base for exploring the city and for seeing the tulips. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
There was a slight humming noise at night which we think came from the fridge but this cannot be helped.

The room facilities were great, v comfortable and spacious
Overall the breakfast was great but some things were cold (which should have been hotter or at least warm)

Good
Amazing breakfast! Very good choices of food and in a really beautiful room with copies of the most famous paintings in the museums of Amsterdam. My travel companion is allergic to gluten, and getting a gluten free breakfast was also no problem.
Also the location is great and really close to the station Amsterdam Amstel. A supermarket and options for eating outside are in walkable distance.
The room itself was also good, small but okay for a three day stay, and there was the opportunity to cook water (and have coffee!) in the room, which I loved!
Unfortunately, the bed was not so comfortable, for it's basically two small beds that are just standing next to each other and could be moved very easy, so we always had the problem that we had to push them back to not have a big gap between the matrasses. Also, if you're travelling with someone your not very close with, the bathroom could be a problem, because it's just a glass door and you can hear everything the other person does. For us, it was no problem though.

Wonderful
Beautiful location in a historic building, the breakfast room is surrounded by famous paintings reproductions, which makes it a very pleasant atmosphere. Extremely clean, just a great stay.
The hotel is located in a residential area, which means not much shops around apart from a Lidl. However the bus stop is right across the street, so it is possible to go to other livelier places relatively easyly.

Exceptional
The room was solid with a kitchenette to allow us to reheat and store food easily. Little grocery market right across the street. The onsite bar was really nice with a great, friendly staff. I guess by staying out further from the city center, the extra city tax and other fees are mainly rolled into the up-front price as opposed to the more central areas. Parking while being 6-8 mins at another hotel away was overall solid.
Closest parking is about 6-8 minutes walk.
