This hotel is a gem. It reminded me that traditional European hospitality is still alive and well (turn down service with homemade brownies!). Friendly staff, gorgeous building, beautiful decorations, fabulous location, delicious breakfast. It was magical.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, spacious room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Luxury toiletries provided.
Decor slightly dark for my taste, but I'm sure it would appeal to many!
The sound of the local church bells during the night, however I am a light sleeper.

Absolutely great location, warm welcoming staff, beautiful building and room! Breakfast was really good and varied. Our room was in the garden side of the building and even with the window open it was really quiet- even on a lovely Friday night.
The only thing I can think of was that I felt the breakfast room would have been more welcoming if dishes on used tables were cleared more timely.

I really liked the hotel’s central location, as well as the staff’s attentiveness and kindness. Additionally, it was a very thoughtful gesture for them to send a bag I had forgotten to my next address
This is not a complaint about the property, but about Booking. I paid for both the room and breakfast, but the breakfast was not communicated to the hotel. As a result, we had to pay for breakfast again

Very fruedky and helpful staff
- we could not sleep the whole night due to 1) someone running on the floor above till 2am 2) The nearest church bells strike the hour every hour and even more frequently and it was very loudly
