There were some vans parked in front of my room and the engine sound and their voices were all over my room, and also the smell of gasoline coming in the room.

The room was OK and so was the food. Good disabled access in terms of actually getting into the room.
It would have been very helpful to be told that there are actually blinds that you can draw across the windows. I slept all night with just nets because there were no curtains and nothing was said anywhere about the blinds.
Cramped accommodation - would have been very difficult with a wheelchair. It was OK with a rollator

I arrived by bike and liked the outside of town location. There is not much in the area as far as food or things to do but that wasn't important to me. It's a basic place to spend the night, not a place to spend a few days.

The front desk are the rudest people you can find in a hotel that has to serve tourists all the time.

The staff were nice. The place was really close to the train station. Rooms were clean.
No airconditioning it was very warm so you'll have to ask for a fan and open the windows but you'll be seen by people walking past from outside.

The staff is the best asset of this hotel. Saida was the lady who checked me in and she’s excellent, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The ladies at the bar and restaurant areas too are so nice. You want people smiling at you when you walk into a hotel, now you got the right people!
This might be just me but I don’t really like this he breakfast much. It may be an Englishman trying to be used to the Dutch breakfast choices. The hotel is located at Gaasperplas, so if you’re visiting as a Tourist be prepared to commute to the main city Centre or central areas. The great thing is that that the hotel is just about 50m from the Gaasperplas metro station so you can get on the metro or catch the GVB buses easily. And there are plenty of buses, metro comes in about every 10-15mins so no issues.
