Small and very comfortable property The room was a good size and provided a quiet respite after a busy day exploring the city. The reception area was inviting and provided a great view of the canals. The host was charming and very welcoming She was helpful with directions and recommendations throughout our stay. She made you feel like family.

Natalie and Anika were so friendly and amazing! They made you feel so welcome. The location and view were also fantastic. The room was small but perfect for a couple and just what we needed. We did not partake in the breakfast mainly due to my partner being vegan and we didn't want to be a pain/our schedules for the day but it smelled amazing when we were walking in the lobby!
A TV with a chromecast option would be great since we don't speak Dutch lol with the heat some air conditioning would have been nice but the fan was helpful with an open window. We also found it odd that the toilet is in the shower so the toilet was wet after the showers lol and if it wasn't a couple who's comfortable with each other then it might be a bit awkward with timing for the shower and the toilet but honestly it was a minor thing!

We liked the location
The room was very small, shower was legit on the toilet. Making everything extremely wet. No fan in the room on arrival. When it was 25+ degreees, fan only arrived on second night of our trip. Plus stupid lamp is placed in head board, with a 2 switches and plugs. Which you constantly turned on in the sleep.

Nathalie was an incredible host, so friendly and inviting! She gave excellent advice and recommendations as well as making us feel at home. The room and hotel itself is in a perfect location - very walkable and has everything you need!

It was so hot, a heat wave and there was no Airconditioning, probably no allowed in such a beautiful old building.

This property is a ten minute walk to Reijkmuseum and Van Gough Museum. The Leidesplene area is just around the corner. Access from the airport is by the 397 bus pretty directly, approximately 5€. The staff could not do enough for you, Mane made us takeaway coffees for our car trip as we were leaving! The staff were also helpful with any questions about where to shop and how to get there. The room is compact but functional. However the prize feature of the room was the stunning sunset views. Being right across from the canal and positioned to view the sunset provided the occupant with the opportunity to witness the changing colours of the sky and the twinkling of little lights on the water as the light faded. It was a truly magical experience.
There was a heatwave in Europe and a little room that faces the afternoon sun does get extremely hot. Without a fridge or air conditioning in the room would be a big issue for some people. The hotel has a winding stairway however the staff very kindly helped us with our luggage. Mane moved all of it on our departure, what a hero!
