Of course the location is superb; close to the centre, but on a quiet canal with a lovely view from the breakfast room. Incidentally, the breakfast is highly recommended! But mostly what made our stay really memorable is the sincere warmth and hospitality of Nathalie and Mannie. We had some great chats with both of them.
The lighting in the bedroom was inadequate for reading and writing, at least for our older eyes. However, Nathalie quickly met our request for an extra lamp... so this actually is a plus, not a negative.

Very good location, easy to find. Staff friendly & helpful. Staff booked us a taxi for the next morning.
Room was very small, having a shower soaked everything in the bathroom. No table & chair. No staff available to check out.

Location was superb. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was very good.
Our group of four was assigned two rooms, but we were disappointed to be separated, with two of us placed in the annex. That room was quite noisy and warm throughout the night, and the pillows were uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the steps leading into the bathroom were a tripping hazard during the night.

Hosts were fantastic, gave a lot of recommendations and always checked in when we walked past. Very comfy beds. Great location.
Bathroom in one of our rooms had mould in it which left a horrible smell.

The staff were wonderful.
We were moved to a room outside the principal location. Given that this was one of the most we ever paid for a one night stay, it provided minimal conveniences. The room was on the ground floor with our window facing the road and a very busy pub across the street providing party noise until past 3am. We had to ask for toiletries on our arrival. I felt ripped off given what we paid.

Very Good
Small, quaint hotel that has great modern decor and is very clean. Our room had an incredible view. Very nice and helpful proprietor. Comfortable beds. Spacious rooms.
No air conditioning but windows open and they have a room fan. Shower doesnt have a door and water sprays into the bathroom floor which can make it slippery.
