They stole my clothes inside the hotel

The hotel was in a good location as it walking distance from where my daughter lived.
We were unable to get into our room on the 1st night as the key card wouldn't work. The night manager didn't get a response from any management. The hotel was full & they couldn't offer us a different room. We had to sleep on my daughters floor in a nearby area. I was phoned the next morning to say the room was open. Even on the 2nd night we had to be escorted to the room & have a member of staff let us in with a special machine as the lock was faulty. I can't actually remember anyone apologising. They offered to refund one night & which they then said wasn't half of the total of 670 euros. Overall I'm very disappointed, very bad customer service as I've had to chase for the partial refund I have received.

Location is great!
The bed did not feel properly cleaned, with the sheets still showing signs of previous use. The upgraded room on the second floor was unfortunately too noisy, with frequent sounds resembling clattering dishes coming from close by.

We have stayed at this hotel approx every 3-4 months and we love the location and the style
After a long day I like to have a glass of wine in my room and now im not allowed to bring a glass of wine to my room. As a regular who never causes any grief this is very disappointing. I never get offered rates as a returning customer but ive never complained (a loyalty scheme) until now. But not being able to relax in my room after my shower with a glass of wine is disappointing. Myself and my husband are now wondering if we will return.

The room was clean and the beds were nice. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV. I had my ipad so I was fine. It was nicely decorated.
We paid top dollar for the canal view. We get to our room and out the small window is a tree. If you get on your toes you can see the canal. If I had own that was the view I would have saved the extra $700 and gotten a different room.
