Great location. Very close to public transportation and easy walking area as well.
The accommodations were very nice, the room was comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large for Europe standards. Bathroom seemed updated.
Staff were very nice and accommodating.
The breakfast buffet was well done.
Just a couple very small things, the lamp on the desk, the switch did not work and the small trash can in the bathroom was rusty. Easy and fairly inexpensive fixes that should be done for attention to details.

We had the lower level rooms which were perfect for New Year's Eve...not too much disturbance of our sleep from the frequent 'bangs' from the crazy fireworks at all hours. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very warm except near the window. The bathroom was mostly well designed (exception there needed to be a slightly better slope to drain the shower water), clean, excellent towels, and they had very good hot water. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very helpful and accommodated requests. Location was excellent to public tram, walking distance to the Heineken Brewery tour, Museumplein, and the good, ethnic restaurants in De Pijp plus Albery Cuyp open air market.
The WiFi internet was extremely slow...as in not working at all versus cellphone data during high-usage times. We complained several times and the staff would "reboot" the router and it would temporarily go faster? Not sure what they did but it would then slow down to a crawl again. This made problems when we were trying to book reservations for dinner and other things.

Room was comfortable and quiet, location was great walking distance to all attractions.
Staff was the best thing about the hotel, especially Natalie at reception was very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and the beds were nice. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV. I had my ipad so I was fine. It was nicely decorated.
We paid top dollar for the canal view. We get to our room and out the small window is a tree. If you get on your toes you can see the canal. If I had own that was the view I would have saved the extra $700 and gotten a different room.

It is a very nice hotel. Great service. The coffee was not great at the bar and the breakfast could be better for the money
