The breakfast was good, plenty of choice. There were a couple of issues with the room but they were sorted out quickly. The location was convenient but not too near the centre. The drinks and snacks were lovely.

Disappointing
The common areas and outdoor patio were really cute and cozy. The self-serve beverage/snacks were a nice touch as well as being able to rent bikes! Food/snacks offered were decent!
We got in on a Saturday night, & it was SO LOUD. Until about 4 am. Just really drunk groups walking by shouting and yelling, a ton of car/motorcycles zipping by. At one point someone was banging on all the lower windows down the street, including below ours. Also our door lock would randomly go off and make really odd loud noises at all hours.
Sunday & Monday nights were much quieter, but still some consistent road noise.
It was hard to tell who was working at the "front desk" vs who was a guest. I messaged the receptionist for earplugs but they didn't have any-- would have been a nice thing to offer at a place like that.
Funky old building charm but also has some funky smells, stairs & very odd toilets...

The greatest interior design I have seen. It is located in a beautiful area, very quiet but plenty of places to walk to. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly.
We arrived for the afternoon cheese, pastries and other snacks. The free bar is open all times and help yourself as well as a well stocked fridge!
The courtyard is a wonderful area to relax as well as the common room.
We can’t wait to stay again

The location was great. Far enough from the center of the city to be quiet but still be close enough for an easy walk to almost everything including the major museums (Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum) and Vandelpark. For areas that were not walkable there were two tram stops within a 5 minute walk that would take you wherever you wanted to go in the city. We had a very easy. efficient journey to the F1 race in Zandvoort via the tram to Sloterdijk and the train to Zandvoort. The hotel staff were very nice, helpful and informative, providing directions, recommendations etc. as we needed them (also tolerating my 30 yr old Dutch language skills). Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of options. The room was comfortable and even though it was classified as a small room it was big enough for a five night stay and the king bed was quite comfortable.
This is not a complaint. I would suggest rotating a different item or two into the breakfast rotation. Everything was very fresh and tasty but after 6 days it got a bit monotonous

The location, the amenities, the staff, everything was good! Free bikes (if available), drinks and snacks in the lobby was a very pleasant surprise.
No bath robes or slippers in the room, but maybe the staff could've helped with that.

Wonderful
Loved the decoration- so beautiful, cosy, and welcoming. The staff were helpful and polite. The facilities were beyond our expectations.
It was noisy- the windows let in a lot of noise from the street and we could hear people above us and housekeeping hoovering the corridors in the morning.
