The location was perfect. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The room was big and comfortable also the beds were comfy.
The water presure in the shower was a little weak and we didnt like the carpet in the room, maybe should consider change to wooden floor.

The staff was very nice. The breakfast and location were also nice.
Bathroom sink was way too small. Very small space to set things on in the bathroom. What I paid for the rooms was outrageous for what I received. Very disappointed.

Room size is very adequate for a family of three. The cleaning services were excellent and the staff was very helpful all the time. Close to public transport, street with shops, bakeries and restaurants. The neighborhood was very nice and close to parks and places of interest.

Location is perfect, in the nice quarter of the city with all things to reach easily - cafes, transportation, various shops, bakeries...Very clean and green section. The hotel is an old, nicely restored building with character, clean and cozy, it faces a wide green boulevard with almost no traffic. The room was clean, with a very comfortable bed. Staff is friendly and polite, everyone was very pleasant. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but guests are welcome to have complementary tea/coffee and fruit any time of the day.
What we did not like was nothing about the facility itself, but about the price policies. We booked our room a month prior to our stay, paying 850 euros for 3 nights (with a Genius discount). This was the cheapest room we could get (12 square meters), without breakfast. When I checked the prices for this hotel just few days before our stay, we were shocked to discover that the room of our size was now about 150 euros a night including breakfast. It felt like a big rip off, and we could not do anything about it. The price changed not only on Booking.com, I compared prices also on the hotel's website - same story. I do not think we could have done anything different to escape this financial disaster, we thought that booking a month ahead would help saving. We still would like to stay in this hotel in the future if the price was fair.

I loved everything! I loved the energy, the decorations, the comfort, the warmth of the employees. I loved the thoughtful gift and note in my room, the simplicity of the room yet, high comfort. I am looking for an excuse to return so I can stay here.

Employees were incredibly helpful, considerate, warm in their communication
The design of the hotel as well as facilities such as wonderful bed, fridge, hair dryer, bath, old style Dutch stairs whice are not even everywhere, not to mention the design/look of the interior, and bike parking facility right in front of the location
Not to mention complimentary snacks as well as Kettle with tea's and quick coffee sachets
And the location worked just fine for me
Some random hair under pile of blankets, not working TV, somewhat broken toilet paper holder, not ideal screen by the bath
I also could not figure out how to entirely put off the air conditioning, but that is no fault of the hotel

Beautiful rooms, very kind staff, everything was comfortable. Great water pressure in the rooms, comfy mattress, and air conditioning. They even gave us a small basket of snacks and water when we got there.

Our deluxe room was big by European standards. They have a good coffee machine in the lobby, and there was a welcome set with free water and chips on the first day.
It is located in the residential area and a bit remote from center. There is not too many casual places to eat or grocery stores near by. The carpet in our room was stained and towels had holes in it. Overall, the hotel felt old. The reception personal was hit and miss, some were quite nice. I personally would try other option when I am back to Amsterdam.

Tastefully decorated boutique hotel. Room was comfortable and quiet. The location is ideal if you don’t want to be right in the center but still within walking distance to the main museums.
