Set along the edge of the famous Herengracht canal, Banks Mansion is built in the Amsterdam School architectural style and original features. It offers elegant rooms with a unique all-inclusive concept to give guests a “home away from home” feeling. Flat-screen satellite TV come as standard in the air-conditioned rooms at Banks Mansion. They also include a free private mini-bar. The warm décor is complemented by dark wood furniture and stained glass windows. Each of the bathrooms includes a relaxing rain shower. We loved the all inclusive especially the range of drinks available in the bar and delicious nibbles. The breakfast was a bit disappointing but enough to keep us going. All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and we had a lovely time and I would return.
I felt the hotel was a little tired. The furniture was quite faded and the bed wasn't the most comfortable.
