Set along the edge of the famous Herengracht canal, Banks Mansion is built in the Amsterdam School architectural style and original features. It offers elegant rooms with a unique all-inclusive concept to give guests a “home away from home” feeling. Flat-screen satellite TV come as standard in the air-conditioned rooms at Banks Mansion. They also include a free private mini-bar. The warm décor is complemented by dark wood furniture and stained glass windows. Each of the bathrooms includes a relaxing rain shower. Central to all Amdam. Loved the breakfast lady - warm friendly and honest.
Asked for feather free room - al pillows were down. Was offered a ‘pillow me u’ which doesn’t exist - staff ran out to buy two hypoallergenic pillows. Was offered an early checking as we arrived from a long haul flight at 10h30 - only to be told that the room wasn’t ready until 3pm and no notification of the same beforehand. Hotel manager seems to not know what is going on. We’re given an upgraded as our room wasn’t ready until

Location! We were able to walk most places we wanted to visit and there were excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. Enjoyed the five p.m. happy hour for free drinks and socializing.

There was an issue regarding an unauthorized deduction from my bank account during my stay. Although the matter caused inconvenience and concern, the staff handled the situation professionally and were responsive in assisting me with the clarification process
