Set along the edge of the famous Herengracht canal, Banks Mansion is built in the Amsterdam School architectural style and original features. It offers elegant rooms with a unique all-inclusive concept to give guests a “home away from home” feeling. Flat-screen satellite TV come as standard in the air-conditioned rooms at Banks Mansion. They also include a free private mini-bar. The warm décor is complemented by dark wood furniture and stained glass windows. Each of the bathrooms includes a relaxing rain shower. Great location! Very friendly & helpful staff. The breakfast was really good with a nice variety. Really appreciated being able to have a cup of tea or wine/beer anytime of day. The cheese trolley was great too, but we were only able to try it on one of our 4 nights.
It’s still quite pricey. I’m not sure the all inclusive benefits justify the price. The interior is also a bit dated.

The breakfast was exceptional! The bed was extremely comfortable! Complimentary alcohol. The location was very good and the employees were extremely helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!
No bellmen-stairs difficult to bring in luggage -though employee helped a bit.

The selection was very good loved the omelette had them every morning
My friend slept on the 2 chairs pushed together she found the bed too soft she didn't want to make a fuss we thought maybe all the beds are the same firmness which was a shame it was her 60th birthday treat.

Breakfast was lovely. Rooms was nice enough but no view only high windows. Elevator worked. Stairs were tricky. Great shower and water pressure.
Stain on window sheer when we arrived (like puke). Towel / cleaning service was not routine. Room was spacious but just on par.
