Set along the edge of the famous Herengracht canal, Banks Mansion features Art Deco design and original features. It offers elegant rooms with a unique all-inclusive concept to give guests a “home away from home” feeling. Flat-screen satellite TV come as standard in the air-conditioned rooms at Banks Mansion. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. We walked everywhere so we saved on transportation. I was not expecting the wonderful quality of the all inclusive perk. We loved the breakfast with so many choices. The orange juice and the coffee we delicious. We enjoyed the free bar, snacks and cheese plate. We feel like it saved us money that was better spent exploring Amsterdam.

We loved the location and the all inclusive amenities. The staff were very helpful and the daily breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to family and friends.
The bathroom was slightly disappointing, not a great shower and our hairdryer wasn't working properly. When I notified the desk, nothing was done to repair it. Aside from that, everything else was fabulous and won't prevent us from returning.

The breakfast was very good. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The shower was nice and big. The 24 hour bar and coffee service was excellent and the daily cheese tray was scrumptious. The location is great for restaurants and doing lots of sightseeing.

Breakfast was very nice. Location was excellent for touring. Wine and cheese in the evening was an excellent benefit.
Hotel is still very expensive for level of amenities. Common areas feel a bit worn, and rooms and bathrooms are small and basic. Book this hotel for convenience but dont expect luxury.

Loved the Art Deco vibe, beds were divine. The wine and cheese nightly was delightful and the candies and cookies were nice. Lovely breakfast and the freshly squeezed orange juice machine was wonderful.

Location was exactly right for what we wanted to see in Amsterdam. We could get everywhere by walking or by tram. Our room had a view of the canal as we had asked. The room was clean, comfortable and had good air conditioning. A request for an extra pillow was no problem. The breakfast staff were cheerful and efficient and made really good omelettes! The ambiance of the "sitting room" worked well and we felt relaxed as we enjoyed our inclusive drinks and nibbles in the early evening.
The room on the 4th floor was a little smaller than we expected as it was in the roof with dormer windows. I found it awkward going round the bed as the roof sloped. I would recommend a room lower down as they seemed taller.

Very good located very close to downtown. Arround the hotel are many restaurants with a lot of different cousines. Good and tasty breakfast with a good service in the kitchen.
In our first assigned room was due to a damage of the sewerage a wet smelling carpet on the floor and a very strong bad smell in the air. So far good. After our complaint to the manager on the reception she proposed us to sleep one night there in the strong smelling room, because the chief manager as the "decision maker" is out of the office and will be first on side in the next morning! This was an absolutely NO GO! First after a ridiculous, hard discussion with the manager we received a new room.
