Set along the edge of the famous Herengracht canal, Banks Mansion is built in the Amsterdam School architectural style and original features. It offers elegant rooms with a unique all-inclusive concept to give guests a “home away from home” feeling. Flat-screen satellite TV come as standard in the air-conditioned rooms at Banks Mansion. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is a lovely building, well maintained and clean. Breakfast was delicious, with good gluten free options; I really liked the fresh eggs being made on show.

Location..
The hotel does not have a 4-star concept overall; the staff was sullen and unresponsive. The woman who prepared breakfast in the kitchen and said she had worked there for 28 years was very sweet and attentive. In the rooms, there was only one small bottle of water provided; the double bed was very uncomfortable and I think it was old because the middle part was higher while the sides had sunk in, and when I first opened the duvet, there was black hair on the pillow and similarly, there was long black hair on the bathrobe.. So overall, it wasn't a hotel worth the money we paid..

The hotel feels like a home away from home. The staff is warm, pleasant, and very generous, and the lobby offers complimentary drinks and snacks. Breakfast is good.
The room ia a bit dark, and old fashioned. But this is really minor considering the advantages.

Everything was exceptional all inclusive as said breakfast good breakfast staff excellent helpful and smiling like all other staff at the reception all very attentive and helpful excellent stay within the central area in a quite mood. If next time will stay at no place but Banks Mansion. All the bar everyday with different snacks minibar in the room all inclusive!

staff was super specially Shafani who checked me in. location is at the middle of Amsterdam. the 5PM chess and drinks time is great. the breakfast was basic but with great quality specially the egg omlate and fresh orang juice machine. room size for Amsterdam is considers very good with a side desk and a what can be considered a lazy chair. clean bath with hot water.
The hotel is going Through renovation but you would not feel it.

Excellent location to all areas to bars and restaurants exceptional bar with all drinks from beers to spirits coffee all free any time of day and night mini bar in room also free stocked up every day room.was excellent very clean and spacious breakfast was great continental diffrent choices of breads bacon sausage eggs cooked fresh infont of you by chef from fried scrambled or omelette

Fantastic location, friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, the self service bar (try the milky hot chocolate and a shot of Baileys) great breakfast.
