The location was great! All the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a good value. The bed was very comfortable.
The light switches were very inconvenient. Especially lights for the bathroom, not near the bathroom. The doors to the shower and commode were awkward to use. You had to step out if the shower and walk to the mat, dripping on the floor because you couldn’t open the door over the mat.

Art'hotel's location is perfect — right next to Q-park Centraal, ideal for those arriving by car, and just a short walk from the centre and all attractions. Canal trips depart directly opposite. We enjoyed the good-sized, well-equipped room and comfortable bed, but felt it wasn't good value for money. A glass wall separates the bathroom and toilet from the bedroom — a very modern touch, complemented by a walk-in shower. The hotel is filled with modern art at every turn.
The only real letdown was the breakfast—poor quality and limited choices, though eggs could be cooked to order. For our two-night stay, we declined housekeeping (for eco and personal reasons) and were given a €10 voucher for the bar or restaurant. Unfortunately, the bar wouldn't accept it.

Amazing staff and room.
We actually live in Amsterdam and had to find a hotel after a last minute surgery and everyone was super nice, welcoming and helpful (even letting me use their wheelchair, what was super helpful). We stayed there 7 nights. The accessible room was very comfortable and definitely helped me after the first few days where I couldn’t walk properly. They are also pet friendly and gave our dog some treats for the stay.

Location was great because it was close to the train station. Great staff-very friendly and helpful. We had a room that looked out the back area-nothing to see but it was very quiet and perfect for catchup on some sleep after the long plane ride. The pillows were fantastic.

Very nice location facing the Amsterdam Centraal station. Also so close to shopping area and cafes
Cleanliness. When staying at an hotel with a beautiful location and welcoming staff, you expect to have a clean room. The trash bin was not emptied for 3 nights (until we asked since it was full since day 1). There was a lot of dust on all the tables (we asked the staff to have it cleaned but it wasn't). Water bottles were not replenished daily (only 2 bottles at arrival and nothing else). Tissue box was not full when we arrived and was empty by the second day and wasn't replaced. Mini-bar was broken and couldn't be opened or closed easily.

This hotel is unique, fun, and full of art throughout, including its own gallery. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food at Arco, the restaurant, is absolutely delicious. Breakfast is also excellent.
Just a few small awkwardnesses about bathroom lighting (especially at night) and positioning of fixtures…but those were minor compared with the many positives.

Absolutely stunning hotel with amazing staff! Very accommodating and helpful! They decorated the room and had special surprises for us to celebrate our anniversary & my fiancé's birthday, they went above and beyond and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! You cannot get anymore central than this, as you exit the train station you can see it right across the street, so easy to explore, close to everything, beautiful room! Highly recommend if you want to be taken care of and if you would like to be super central!

The art theme throughout the hotel.
The lighting was adequate for me.
The showerhead needed to be fixed or replaced cuz water splattered.
The location of the hotel is excellent!
The faucet and showerhead needed to be replaced.
Tv noise and walking noise from the next door was heard clearly, which was unfornate.
For this price range, I expected more.

Location, fitness room was clean and spacious. The pool water was nice and warm. Staff was very helpful. Arca restaurant wonderful and lots of nice common spaces.
Beds were very soft. We used an extra duvet to prop them up. The lighting takes some getting used to. Mood vs sleep vs full. We felt like we were in an I Love Lucy skit trying to figure them out.
