The staff were very pleasant. The rooms were clean.
The price of the buffet was not well marked. We heard the hostess say 950 for the buffet. both of us heard this. so we did the buffet and come to find out it was 2950 or $70 for two people which is excessive. You can get a decent breakfast for €10 just around the corner so don’t eat at the buffet.

Good location across from train station and near river
First room we were given did not have a door to the toilet area (shower had a door). The toilet was in public space. We were told it was the "last room available" at the time we checked in early.
Did not accept the room; asked for a toilet with a DOOR. Was shown a different room with an enclosed toilet area, we took it. Check-in staff was not very transparent at first.
Room cleaning was just okay.

The location was perfect to all Amsterdam sights. The art deco decor was unique. Best of all the staff was terrific . Helpful to the extreme.

Great location. Would stay again just because of the location.
Safe was broken. Didn’t want to waste time on the trip to wait and have this fixed.
The bed foundation was not stable.
The lighting in the room was very dark.
The room was clean, but the shower pan had visible traces of mold.
No issues with the price, but I had higher expectations.

There were sweets all day long and pastries for a few hours in the lobby.
There were umbrellas for the guests.
The location is excellent.
The room was a little small.
There was a coffee machine in the room, but no capsules or sugar.
The swimming pool was not warm enough.

Room was clean and nice. Beds were comfortable.
Room was great but took till past 4pm to get ready when check in was 3pm. The staff had us wait in the waiting area and asked if we wanted to order drinks. Due to frustration and not wanting to pay the cost, I said no for myself and my kids but my husband got a beer. When our room was finally ready, we asked how to pay for my husbands' beer. They said no you don't have to pay, drinks were on us. We then said well why didn't you tell us that? The kids would have loved a hot chocolate. The lady then joked and said "well guess you should have ordered it then" and brushed it off. We did not appreciate this.
To make up for our room taking so long they said they would have breakfast ready for us in the morning. We told them we had to leave by 6:30 am to get to our train. They assured us it would be ready. It was not. We waited till 6:45am and then we were just about to go so we wouldn't miss our train when they finally brought the food but forgot the drinks. We did not have time to wait for them to get our coffees. We then had to run with all our luggage and the 3 kids to get to our train on time. When we go to eat our breakfast on the train, the food they packed had no lids and had spilled everywhere making a huge mess. There was no cutlery or napkins either. How are we suppose to feed the kids omelettes with no cutlery?
They said they would make up for things and their offer was nice but the execution and communication was lacking.

Right of the central train station. Transportation to everywhere just outside. The pool and gym area is really large and nice. Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, even with our large family of kids.
The vibe is more modern than I expected, so less charm inside, just FYI.

The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of Amsterdam, across from Central Station anda ll the attractions. Our suite had a very nice view of the station and the canals around it. The hotel is decorated with art and nice details, the staff was super friendly and there is a swimming pool in the basement which is quite unique for such a dense city.

Very Good
I like the location it is close to food and shopping. It is also very close to the red light district, and it is really easy to take the tram to travel around town. The rooms are very clean. Soundproofing in the room is awesome, I can barely hear any of my neighbors. Guarantee to get a good night of sleep.
