Staff was wonderful, location was perfect, nice gym and pool area, nice artwork
Mice in the lobby is an absolute dealbraker. Loved the hotel otherwise, but that is completely unacceptable. Catching management chastising one of their staff for not wanting to reenter the hotel upon seeing a mouse told me that the problem was not being dealt with seriously. I totally made it clear to that manager that their employee had a right to be disgusted and not want to work in that kind of environment. Disappointing, because this was otherwise a nice hotel. You're paying more for the location, because as nice as it is, it is not a $400 plus night hotel.

The location was great, directly across the canal from the train station and in heart of the city. Plenty of walkable restaurants and shopping near by.

It was convenient to everywhere my family wanted to visit. It was close to Amsterdam Centraal so it was easy to catch the trains for day trips and from the airport with kids. There is a supermarket just down the block and lots of places to eat for breakfast within a block or two. Can catch a ferry tour right by. the hotel.
One of the pillows on my bed smelled a little bit so I used the extra pillows given. The curtains had a gap in them because they weren’t wide enough to cover the whole window so it let in some sunshine early in the morning on mornings we didn’t mind sleeping in.

Location was outstanding. Staff were pleasant. Room was clean, pretty spacious, and interesting in decor.
Breakfast was rather pricey. I would have liked to use the stairs to go up.
