My room was comfortable…good lighting, a window that I could open. Ample wardrobe space.
Water pressure was good. Space in bathroom for toiletries. Bed and pillows were great.
Breakfast was more than adequate.

Location and recommendations for food for excellent
Dark blue dated carpet and musty smell. Also tub with shower head without a barrier wall to prevent water from leaking onto floor, very odd.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Attention has been paid to every aspect, from the decor, the room amenities, the breakfast menu and service and the exceptional care in the hospitality of all of the staff. If our plans ever take us back to Amsterdam, I will not hesitate to stay at Apollofirst hotel again.

Very good access to the transit within 10 minutes or so. Very nice setting. The hotel is older, but it’s quaint and very nice. The staff were excellent.

The hotel was amazing. Location was perfect for us, it was so close to a tram and we were able to go everywhere with it. Sometimes we used connections, but it was very easy. The hotel is also a 20 minute walk to the Van Gogh Museum, etc. The staff was incredibly kind, they always had smiles while communicating which made us feel very welcome. Room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I didn't want anyone to come into our room, including the cleaning staff, so they left clean towels in a bag outside our door. Also, there were complementary apples with water and lemon in the reception next to the elevator, which was nice too. We didn't get breakfast.
Stairs are narrow and the elevator is old, these can bother some people.

The entire staff welcomed us, weary from travel, making our room available very soon after arrival. The space is quietly elegant and charming in a lovely residential neighborhood, near the tram for easy access to museums with #5 just a short walk. We highly recommend this small and personal hotel!

The staff was incredible and everything else was great! The room was comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis; beds were plush; and the garden was a delightful place to sit in the shade during the very hot portions of the days during our stay.

We began our Europe travels with a stay in the Apollofirst Hotel and after 6 weeks of touring, decided to return because we loved it so much! We were upgraded to a deluxe room with a balcony and we could not have been happier. Wonderful breakfast, too!
