The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices and the dining area and patio were perfect. The Library Bar was cozy and we enjoyed reading and playing cards there. We hope to return to stay again!

This was such a lovely vacation experience. We loved the location in a residential area that had many shopping/dining options just 2 blocks away. The staff were absolutely amazing - kind, friendly, over the top accommodating. We especially want to give a shoutout to Sam - he was our breakfast server and just could not do enough for us. Loved our spacious room and the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had in Europe!
It was definitely expensive - but we did go at the busiest week of the year - Easter week - prime tulip season!
My only complaint - those towels - please invest in new, more plush ones!!!! We will definitely be back!

Staff was courteous and helpful, room was very large, comfortable and beautiful, location was perfect, not too close to the center to be noisy, but well located to reach all of Amsterdam. In a lovely neighborhood with cafes, restaurant and a supermarket in walking distance.
One minor thing: the cleaning staff would fold the duvets on the bed in such a way that I had to unfold them every time I wanted to go to sleep. Not a big issue but as I was working hard on this trip there were days I just wanted to get into bed and not have to deal with that. I suppose it showed that the sheets had been changed every day, which was nice.

I enjoyed the hotel's charm. It’s a beautiful historic building with a lovely garden and tasteful decor. The staff was kind and helpful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was also very nice and a great start to the day.
The only small downside was the shower, which felt a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. A modern rain shower would make the experience even better. Otherwise, everything was very pleasant.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Location was excellent for walking to most destinations and short walks to convenient tram/bus rides to others. The common space off the lobby had a great atmosphere and guests could get a cup of coffee and other drinks 24/7.
Our room had only one bedside table and lamp. The bathtub/ shower was a little treacherous in terms of slipperiness

The room's size, cleanliness, and bathroom are positive aspects. The room's ambience is also nice.
Location is in a more residential neighbourhood, which is very good if you want to be outside the city centre but still close enough to walk if you like to explore the city on foot. There is a nearby tram station to use public transport if you like.
No breakfast experience.

The hotel is well connected to Amsterdam Zuid and walking distance from museums and landmarks, but still in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly and the room was comfortable and well maintained.
The elevator might be a tight fit with larger luggage

It's a hotel with its own character, sort of vintage, it's a different experience than staying in a standard chain hotel. The staff is very kind and professional. The breakfast looked great but we did not have a chance to experience it. The neighborhood is very nice. You do have to walk a bit to reach public transportation which is OK but can be a bit tiring with luggage. I would probably stay here again if I got a good price.
The walk from and to public transport with luggage. And the price was a little steep for me but it was still good for Amsterdam standards.

Charmingly decorated and located small hotel. Was exactly what I needed to one night.
The only miss for me was a second towel in the bathroom. Just one bath towel isn’t quiet enough for hands, body and long hair. A hand towel would be much appreciated
