It's a hotel with its own character, sort of vintage, it's a different experience than staying in a standard chain hotel. The staff is very kind and professional. The breakfast looked great but we did not have a chance to experience it. The neighborhood is very nice. You do have to walk a bit to reach public transportation which is OK but can be a bit tiring with luggage. I would probably stay here again if I got a good price.
The walk from and to public transport with luggage. And the price was a little steep for me but it was still good for Amsterdam standards.

Charmingly decorated and located small hotel. Was exactly what I needed to one night.
The only miss for me was a second towel in the bathroom. Just one bath towel isn’t quiet enough for hands, body and long hair. A hand towel would be much appreciated

I have been traveling a lot lately. The new hotels start to look the same - sure they have huge ceilings, concrete structure, spacious design. Yet all of them have showers. This little hotel has a great location, on a street with beautiful buildings, a variety of restaurants around the corner and public transportation. It also has something rare: a bathtub! After a rainy day in the fall, one can have a great, warm bath. That is pure luxury.
Staff is also polite and knowledgeable - like at a five star hotel. I personally also valued liked the location close to Concertgebouw.
Plus great breakfast with a view to the garden.
