I booked a whole dorm out for my stag do so our experience was a little different to someone just having a bed in a shared dorm. The dorm for 10 was large and didn't feel cramped at all. It was very clean and we had access to our own toilet as we had the whole dorm - Usually this would be shared with other people in the same dorm but as we were one group it was like our own private toilet which was great. Everything was very clean on arrival. Towels were provided and we had access to two showers in the room too which was convenient in the mornings. There is a sink and a basic small kitchen but we didn't need to use those. Access was simple in and out via keycards at the front door, corridor and room which made me feel very safe leaving stuff in there. There was also a safe in the room if needed. Check-in was really easy too and staff were helpful when we needed them which was only once. All the corridors and communal spaces were clean and well looked after. Generally speaking it was a near perfect set-up for a bunch of lads on a weekend away, with only a few minor issues.
The dorm had no windows which did make it feel a little dark and gloomy. The location was also a bit out of town and a train is required to get to Amsterdam central but we did know that before booking - just something to note. At the very least you will need a bike to get to central as its over an hour walk, but using the train is the easiest way. Its only a 5 minute walk to the nearest station and then a ~5min journey to central. The toilet is separate to the dorm round two corners of a shared corridor which was a little bit inconvenient when it was needed during the night, but not a massive deal. Phone charging was probably the biggest issue we had. There were lights for each bed and they all had a slot for USB charging, however only one of them out of the 10 beds was actually usable, all the others were broken. This meant that 9 of us all trying to charge our phones was a bit chaotic and a lot of us were surviving on airplane mode throughout the day - not great when you need your phone for navigation and payments when in Amsterdam. The only other thing I can think to note is that none of the bottom bunks in our room had curtains, which may be an issue if you are sharing with strangers.

We stayed for 4 nights - we are a young family with an 8 and 10 year old. Fantastic location - 600m walk to Sloterdijk station, can connect to all public transport from there. Friendly staff, children loved the hotel cat. Family room was large, 4 seater dining table, 2 large windows, the kitchenette with fridge and convection microwave was a huge plus. Great price to be close to centre of Amsterdam
The mattresses in the kids bunk beds are very firm. Bring ear plugs, fire alarm went off at 1am. Door is not sound proof so you can hear everything in the corridor. Some of the large dorm rooms have bathrooms seperate/ across the corridor from the room and the doors self close with a slam. So understandably doors slamming, people knocking and moving between bathrooms at all hours. This is a budget hostel so to be expected

I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we asked, it was agood location as long as you figured out the the trains etc, and the decorations of the hotel and the rooms were very fun, overall had a really great experience
I found the bed very comfortable but thought the bed frames need to be changed as there was certain furniture just looked a bit old, I also think there should be a shower mat as the floor got soaked any time we took a shower, over all pretty clean and only a few small adjustments x

Great location, far from the noise of the centre, but close to grocery stores and transportation. The staff was super helpful, they allowed us to checkin earlier so we can go and enjoy the city for a bit, I was able to borrow a hairdryer, coffee in the morning and lemonade throughout the day. The orange cat was adoooorable! Great vibe, great service. Thank you!
Mid-march, it was a little cold in the evening and mornings, it would've been nice to be able to turn up the heat a bit. Also, an outlet near the bunk bed would've been helpful. Other than that... it was great!

I had a very pleasant stay at this accommodation. The location is excellent — everything you need, like cafés and shops, is within walking distance, which made my stay very convenient.
The apartment was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was well-equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including dishes, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a kettle. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a sponge and dishwashing liquid provided.
The bathroom was in great condition, with modern plumbing and no unpleasant odors at all. The overall condition of the apartment was very good, with a nice and fresh renovation.
Another big advantage is the location — it is very close to the train station, as well as bus and FlixBus stops, making it easy to travel around.
I would definitely recommend this place!
The only minor downside was that the pillow and mattress were slightly too firm for my personal preference.

The overall vibes was great
The floor wasn't that clean and sadly our shower drain was almost fully clogged up so showering wasn't very easy.

There was a bad smell in the corridors, some kind of food was smelling every day....
Fire alarm was activated in the middle of the night. Luckily it was not because of fire, just a smoke from cigarette. There were metal bars on the window so it was impossible to escape if needed.

. This place is cheap and in a good location.
I slept in a a cupboard. It was tiny and cramped. The mattress was covered in an easy wipe cover. My duvet was stained and didn't look great. Neighbours were shouting and loud. Not great.
