Location was so handy, easy to access
As a well known brand of 5 star Hotel, TV wasn’t working in my room, has to go down to reception to ask for help, no one has showed up.

Location was good, most staff were very friendly and attentive.
The air-conditioning leaked water into the room during my first night. The noise of the water droplets on the floor was very annoying and the water on the floor created a saftey hazard. When I complained the engineer had failed to repair the fault and left a towel on the floor where the water is collecting. When I complained again, I was moved to the 2nd floor, where I had a room with a tiny window with a view of the hotel services roof. I had no sunshine whatsoever. They should refund 1 nights stay back to me as a fair compensation.

Excellent location
The staff at the reception was very rude. The lady that “helped” us was not at all welcoming or friendly. She was also not the most knowledgeable in terms of what appears on the hotels website. The bathroom smelled like urine all the time and the shower was not well sealed so the bathroom was always inundated.

Location was great; hotel was nice and clean
HVAC in our room did not work; we reported it to staff who did not seem to care that it was not working; we were told that they were working on it but it wasn't fix for our entire three night stay; no effort was made to find an alternate room with HVAC that worked correctly.

Location
This hotel is marketed as a 5-star property, but in our experience, it did not meet that standard. My wife and I have stayed at numerous 5-star hotels around the world, and unfortunately, this fell short. We advised the staff ahead of time that we would be arriving at 2:30pm. Upon check-in, we were informed that our room was not ready — understandable to a degree — but we were told we would receive a call once it was available. We went to get something to eat, yet 1.5 hours later, even past the normal 3:00pm check-in time, we had still received no update. We finally gained access to our room between 3:55 and 4:10pm. Once inside, we found the amenities very limited for a supposed 5-star hotel: no slippers, no bathrobes, and we had to call reception to request them. Over our 6-day stay, our room was not cleaned for the first two days. Additionally, our room cards had to be replaced as they repeatedly failed to work. Only two of the three elevators were operational throughout our stay, and long waits at the front desk were common, even for simple questions, due to limited staff availability. On a positive note, the location was excellent — we explored the city with ease. However, when you pay premium prices expecting a 5-star experience, you expect the basics (and more) to be delivered without issue. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience for a hotel of this rating.

High standards good facilities and location
There was a discrepancy with the information we received about the dog fee and the initial conversation over the phone with the front desk was unpleasant but the manager handled it very well upon our arrival.
