Disappointing
Good location
Hard to enter - no signs which floor is which. At night the card did not work near the entrance. Place was dirty and you could hear through everything. Hallway was open for everybody. Room was cold.

The staff was nice. The location is good.
The hotel facilities do not live up to the 4* hotel claim. The walls have marks on them, the paint is peeling, no ventilation and mold in the bathrooms, very poor ac, the room was advertised as having a balcony but the "balcony" was just the exit to the outside corridor with other people walking past our windows

Room was just enough in terms of amenities and size for my short, one person visit.
Getting to the check-in lobby and my room was awkward. It's not just that the lobby is on the 4th floor, which I was notified about, but also that you have to go through a DIFFERENT hotel's lobby and THEN an outside courtyard to even access the building where the lobby and rooms are.

The location was good
The room was dirty, the soap dispenser in the shower was leaking, the shower area had a bunch of mildew, the shower drain didn't work (had to stop the water every 30 seconds in order for the water to drain), and the AC was very weak.

Check-in was nice and straight forward. Our room was modern and spacious, with a lovely bathroom and shower. Bed was nice and comfy.
Our room (and most others) have a patio door which takes you out of your room and onto a shared terrace. Upon arriving into our room we found this door was wide open meaning anyone could have been waiting.
I thought this could be extremely dangerous and especially worrying for any women travelling alone.

Location was great. Bed comfortable. Near stores.
Rooms were dirty. Food stains/debris on floor and furniture. Bathroom fixtures broken. Heater stuck on high. Fans not working. More of a cheap flop house than a 3 or 4 star hotel. Much nicer hotels in same area. Avoid.

Very Poor
We hated staying here so much that we left a day early, something I’ve never had to do before. It’s a complete scam to call this hotel “4 stars”. I’ve attached photos of the broken toilet seat, grimey soap dispenser and scratched up bathroom mirror. Terrible facilities and I cannot believe we had to spend so much to stay here.

Hand held shower head had large black mold patch! Floor dirty, food stains on walls and furniture. Refrigerator ran so hot room smelled of burning wood.

The location is ok. 15 minutes by walking. The facility is clean. The staff is super friendly. There is free water, tea, coffee and fruit in lobby. The staff helped us with early checkin. Overall great for the low price.
The room could be bigger. Rooms are a little bit hard to find

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting central Amsterdam. The hardwood floors and marble in the bathroom are beautiful!
It was not super light in the room even with the lights on. And the wallpaper was a bit worn.
