Comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, and good heating. The staff was very friendly, helped us with our luggage at check-in, and gave us helpful tips about the city. There were also free hot drinks available at the reception. The room is very small but worked ok for two people for two nights.
The stairs are very steep. I was aware of this beforehand, but if you are a larger person, I would not recommend it. The bathroom is also very small and, again, impossible for larger guests to use. We could hear noises from other guests, if you know what I mean.

We stayed four nights at the hotel. We liked the comfortable bed mattress and pillows. The room heating was satisfactory.
It did not have good soundproofing and we could hear our neighbors. It also had a lot of steps to get to the room. Of course, a common occurrence in the city. The toilet was placed in a place where a larger person would not be able to sit.

Wonderful
Good value hotel, great customer service and a useful location near to lots of restaurants - a quick bus ride or nice walk into the city centre. Much appreciated that we were able to eat a takeaway in the nice dining room. The room and en-suite were great - good exercise from the stairs!

Room was clean and the location is perfect. Not too far from the Amsterdam Central. Also free hot drinks was a nice addition. Customer service was very good and everyone was kind and happy.

room is great, i did not have breakfast included and stairs was a challenge with many luggages but the staff Tahir helps. Understood the stairs was due to part of the hostorical buiding so no complain.

The night clerk who checked me in was awesome, I am a senior lady and he carried my bags up the stairs for me. My room was fabulous, very bijou bust still very luxurious in such a small package. The shower was outstanding don’t get me started on the shower head extension, wow is all I can say. Then the BED, oh my GOSH, I came in tired, I ended up sleeping 14 hours straight. The bed is soft with a pillow top yet firm so you get an incredible nights sleep is all I can say. I was just blown away. I did oversleep my alarm by over an hour and had to pay an extra hours stay. But it was worth it to me, I woke up so refreshed. The morning tea was wonderful down in the bar and they even gave me a mini Toblerone that was really nice.
The only thing that I did not like were the stairs. I have really bad vertigo and I even have to take ginger tablets to help me manage the stairs coming down them.
