Alp Hotel was a fantastic place to stay in Amsterdam! The staff were so welcoming. Tahir checked us in and took the time to show us a map of the surrounding area, point out key areas, and give suggestions on food and things to do. He even carried our luggage all the way up to our room on the top floor! Warning- the stairs are very steep and windy and there’s no elevator. The room was spacious with plenty of room to keep luggage and belongings. The bathroom was immaculately clean. We loved the big windows in the room and even caught a couple beautiful sunrises. We also loved the little chocolates they left on our pillows every day. The hotel was also in a great location, outside of the main tourist area but easily accessible with multiple tram stops right outside the front door. It was also easy to get to from the airport with the train and trams. I would definitely stay again if I return to Amsterdam.
The pillows were not comfortable and I would suggest you bring your own if you have any type of neck issues. It also would be helpful to have more towel hangers in the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous location, gorgeous room and bathroom, very clean, my room was in the garden side so nice and quiet and had a nice balcony. There is also a decent sized fridge. It’s in an authentic building so be prepared to climb stairs - good for your fitness!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and very well maintained. The hotel is also conveniently located just a short walk from the tram station, which made getting around the city super easy. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam.

Great location, everyday cleaning and towels, full amenities (even toothbrush). Very welcome people, every day water bottles and chocolates in the rooms.
There are stairs up to 4th floor but they carry our luggage!

I can honestly say The Alp is alwats my first go to hotel when booking amsterdam and of course many times it is fully booked which never surprises me. Perfect location, super friendly staff.Tahir is very welcoming, always pleasant and helpful.

The owners were very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and there was a lot of shelf space in the bathroom. An apple and a piece of chocolate were left on the beds each day. The room also had a nice, quiet balcony to sit on.
Nothing, although I could see the stairs being a little difficult for people with mobility issues. I'm not sure if there is a lift as I don't use them.

The furniture on the balcony is very uncomfortable. There is plenty of room for comfy furniture.

The room is nice, and they can clean up everyday. There are tram to city or train stations, despite some construction going on so no direct trains to old town area. Some choices of restaurants around.
24hr counter service but has curfew after 11pm.
No fridge of kettle in the room,and needs to ask for tea/coffee at the counter.
Not much to see from widow. But I’m glad we got second floor, otherwise the stair too steep.

Staff were super friendly and helpful! The room was a twin with Balcony which was perfect for me and my friend. The balcony had chairs! We had enough space inside to open our suitcases! The room and bathroom were clean! It smelt nice! You could control your own heating! Shower was perfect, great water pressure and the water drained away and didn't pool up at your feet. Hot drinks available anytime from the machine. Super safe as the door gets locked. Nice walking distance from the centre for me and my friend however transport is basically outside.
I would stay here again!
