great localisation - there are a lot of good restaurants, cafes nearby, it’s possible to just take a walk to many places

Location is good - easy walk to main sites (though current - autumn 2026 - road works limit tram options). OK for a short stay.
Very small room. Just about a 'twin' in that there were two beds about 50cm apart. Balcony does help with space, otherwise you wouldn't want to spend much time there. Our room was at the top of flights of steep stairs.

Great location! Easy access to transit and lots of restaurants nearby. Grocery stores across the street! They have a great coffee machine in the lobby.
The hotel noise was very loud (slamming doors, housekeeping, people dragging furniture) which made it hard to recover from jet lag (and have our child sleep). No fridges in room or ice anywhere made it hard to enjoy a cold beverage in the room, but they do sell things in the lobby. The stairs are VERY steep, but the stroller parking in the lobby was convenient.

The location is a bit out of centre in a more calm area, close to the museums and Vondelpark. Perfect for walks along the canals without the crowds. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was really tiny. Be prepared for steep steps.

My partner and I are just back from a stay here, location is fantastic, walking distance to everything you would want to see, close to tram stops and lots of local businesses nearby to take advantage of. The staff were amazing, very friendly and welcoming. They gave us some tips for travelling around the city and were helpful with any inquiries! We were on the ground floor at the rear of the property, no issues with noise , very quiet and peaceful
