Hush maderas is amazing! The views are unbelievable. The amenities are gorgeous. The staff are super nice and I LOVE how clean the facilities are. One of the most beautiful places ive ever stayed in.

I really like the location. View is amazing. Dickson was very kind and very attentive to what I needed . I'd rather not comment on the rest of the staff.
The food could be better. Some staff members seemed reluctant to help you. They should focus more on customer service than on their phones.

From all the relevant places around Maderas beach no doubts it is the best location by far and there is a pathway to the beach.
> If you are a nature lover, this place offers everything—from beautiful sunrises to stargazing at night from the rooftop, and one of the prettiest sunset you will see. surrounded by hills on all sides and ocean Infront.. The restaurant is excellent. I personally needed a special diet, and they were kind enough to accommodate my needs, even at breakfast
The dorms are a bit old fashioned and only one toilet and shower, but who cares when you are at the best location and restaurant ever!!! In any case you will not be at the room

The pool area, the views and the food was amazing! Playa Maderas only 10 min walk away. Great Internet and roaming cell phone speeds.
I so wanted to love this place but the room was pretty terrible. Beds uncomfortable with one very saggy, no AC, salt water in the bathroom, and we never got any hot water despite trying at different times. Windows are loosely fitting so when it's windy at night (75% of the time) it was very noisy with the banging and difficult to sleep. Food/drink service is let down tremendously by the main server who is very nice but consistently forgets orders. Can also get busy with day trippers around sunset time.
Maybe the other rooms are better? In any case, if they fix that room at least, make expectations clear about the water situation, and train the server I'd be scoring it much, much higher. I'd stay again here for 1 night, but not for any more that that.

I’ve been here before 3x, and loved it in the past, but the place is deteriorated since my last day. Needs upkeep.
Got food poisoning here and when i reported it wasn’t taken seriously at all — and like I said a lot of deterioration.
The room door lock never worked (to their credit they fixed it right away), remote for air conditioner was worn out and worked only half the time, conditioner (for shower) missing and didn’t find out until they asked me at the end of the stay that it was even offered, outside hammock nets closed (as were needing to be fixed). Water not working for part of the stay. Had to ask for the normal welcome drink vs it being offered. Food quality not what it was. Fish served cold and had to remind them to heat it up (weird).
Basically a normally really nice place with so many details missed that it changed the experience considerably. (Details are what make things great. So sloppy. Wasn’t like this in the past).

Hush Maderas – A Hidden Gem Above the Clouds
If you're looking for the ultimate escape with breathtaking views, peaceful vibes, and genuinely warm hospitality – Hush Maderas is the place. From the moment you arrive, the energy of the space just melts your stress away.
The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is absolutely magical – especially at sunset. You can float at the edge and take in the endless sky, jungle, and coastline all at once. The photos don’t even do it justice.
A special shoutout to Ester at the reception, who was absolutely amazing! She was so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire stay. Her warm smile and thoughtful service made us feel right at home from the very beginning.
The entire staff go above and beyond. Everyone was friendly and genuinely caring – always making sure we had everything we needed.
The design is rustic-chic, blending beautifully with nature, and it’s clear every detail was thoughtfully chosen. Whether you're lounging in the hammock, sipping a drink from the bar, or just soaking in the view – everything here invites you to slow down and breathe.
Hush Maderas isn’t just a hotel – it’s an experience. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature (and themselves). We’ll definitely be back.

This was our little splurging at the end of our Nicaragua adventure. The food was excellent, our room was spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly. The walk down to the beach is on a trail with switchbacks buy only steep on one very short part at the start. We got here by taxi, and the driver had some difficulty on a few steep sections. It is quite hilly. The sunset views are amazing. We definitely recommend this place wholeheartedly

The view was the best in the area. The ambiance at the restaurant and I think we got it one of the best rooms with the terrace on the seconde floor with the hammocks and sofa. The pool was a great perk as well.
There was no safe in the room. Sometimes our food was long to arrive like twice 1 hour. The other times it arrived within 15 minutes.
