Close to beach, restaurants & shops. The room was clean, breakfast included.
No hot water in shower. No aircon, fans only. Beds firm.

Great value for money, as everything else in SJDS was incredibly expensive compared to this. Recommended for budget backpackers.

Everything was excellent. The room was super clean with a comfortable bed, the shower worked great, and there were two fans. The location was perfect, with everything being a short walk away, including the beach, which was only one block away. Great value for the price. They even gave me a nice breakfast for free!
I can't think of anything that made me feel negative. It was a great stay

My room was comfortable, there are many nice common areas for relaxing, the hostel is well located close to shops and restaurants, and the included breakfast was fantastic.
Kitchen facilities are limited.

SO SO LOVELY!
Super clean, super quiet at night,
Lovely free breakfast, they let us checkout 3 hours later for $10. Really nice sun trap terrace to chill on too! And moments from the beach/main area of town.

The location, the kind staff and the terrace with various seating options. The breakfast was simple but very nice and filling:)
The only thing is the cleanliness, it really isn’t the best. Especially the bathroom was very dirty and there was no shower head, just a pipe.

room is very big even though there are 16 beds inside, you have a lot space to put bag.
nice staff, they are friendly, helpful.
a little bit noisy at midnight because seems a bar or pub is close by.

Very nice host, gave us another room after we weren’t satisfied with the one we got.
Not all the rooms are bug protected, frogs in the entrance, no hot water (like every hostel in San Juan), not very clean
